More RR Piling On Likely to Follow

Submitted by GustaveFerbert on
At some point, it becomes piling on. More RR news to supposedly hit the fan. Apparently related to lawsuit in South Carolina concerning real estate loan. Getting sued because of a real estate deal gone sour over the last year is pretty much old news, but for RR, no doubt the Freep will have it page one with some dramatic headline imagined by Rosendouche...

There clearly is a faction that wants RR out...and they are determined to fuck up this season to get it done.... Can you site specifics of the lawsuit? I mean...Ive sued someone before myself and its not that big of a deal to end up in court these days.

You're right, there is a faction that want him out. Even if it means fucking up this season and future seasons to come. Think about it, if RR was let go (never gonna happen), it'll take a few years to rebuild. And you just know these same idiots will clamor for a good ole fashioned pro-style Lloyd the second. These people cling to how things should be, yet they themselves probably know shit about Michigan football. Luckily for us, RR will stay and we will win win win.

it was "the sweat" that plagued England during Henry the VIII's reign. Only he didn't create the plague, he found the cure. By working yourself into a sweat you would ward off the disease (at least that's what many thought). See.....if only everyone knew he was only trying to keep his players from getting this terrible disease by making them practice so hard and so often maybe they would settle down! Genius is always misunderstood!

totally stressing me out. I can't wait till Saturday and we can get this season started. I can't believe the importance that this game has taken on. Here's to hoping that the offense can light up WMU and put some big points up.

As an attorney, I can tell you these docs look legit. This proof of service certainly does. It isn't a big deal- the lawsuit, really- but what sucks is that it will just add more fuel to the fire. And more bad PR. It involves a construction company defaulting on a loan from what I can tell, and RR was one of the people who'd guaranteed the loan, apparently. The complaint: http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B2rXEL9-4-deNDFhODMyMzItMmJiYS00OWI… The loan guaranty in question: http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B2rXEL9-4-deZjJhODVjOWUtM2M1NS00Zjk… Proof of Service: http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B2rXEL9-4-deMWQ5YjRhYTQtNGUyNC00OTk…

No not at all, this whole situation has disgusted me. I just think this is all getting blown out of proportion because of everything thats happend since RR's hire. If Ryan Perilloux would have said les miles cheated when recruting me and broke so and so rules after he got kicked off the team, would anyone really pay attention? I don't think so, its unhappy X-player just being a cry baby. That's how I think most people would have viewed it. But you get RR coming off this 3-9 season and buyout ordeal and now everyone wants to believe what these bitter transfers have to say. I just don't think there is much if any proof to these claims. But I do think espn is a joke for presenting it as basically a fact they cheated once the story broke.

And we're supposed to believe there's no conspiracy to get RR out of Michigan? I don't buy it. We, as true fans, need to show our support for Rich Rodriguez on Sept. 5 against WMU.

It will be reported tomorrow in Michael Rosenberg's column of the Detroit Free Press that Rich Rodriguez is, in fact, the source of swine flu. Rosenberg purports to have interviewed several CDC officials, who spoke on conditions of anonymity, as well as current or former players who overheard Rodriguez plotting to cause a worldwide epidemic by infecting pigs in Mexico with a flu that would quickly complete the species jump back to humans.

Freep and Rosendouche will be all over this as soon as they find out. If RR gets fired...who would want this job...so many assholes out there out to get you...its almost as bad as being President.

I just want to focus on getting amped for the game and instead I got to read/listen to all this shite. I agree that I might have to go into media blackout mode. As far as the lawsuit goes, its not as bad as the Spartoons are making it sound. They are claiming he is some kind of deadbeat for not paying this loan. When in fact he was just the guarantor on the loan. The guarantor only comes into play when there is a default by the principal. That is the point of the guarantor. So the bank can ensure that they will get paid in the event of default. As soon as the principal (blacksburg llc) defaults, the bank can immediately go after the guarantor for payment. This also triggers the right of the guarantor to go after the principal. In all liklihood RR recovers from whatever there is from Blacksburg and this gets paid over to the bank. It was not his responsiblity or liability even, until the principal defaulted. Not a real big deal, except he is now responsible for getting the 4 mill to the bank.

$350,000 for an 800 square foot condo in Blacksburg Virginia? I think I see the problem with this deal from the get-go. That's more expensive per square foot than Chicago.
