Let's speculate wildly: Gareon Conley
Michigan's to lose still, assuming we still want him. OSU is out essentially. Only way I see him at Oregon is if he gets his offer before visiting...which I doubt. This is trending back to the good guys. And I'm glad, he's a hell of a prospect.

Link? Or speculation?

Mgobluegr from "Tremendous" tweeted out this article:
http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=2&c=1244013&ssf=1&RequestedURL=h…
And then followed it up by saying "The article I just RTed wasn't paywalled for a few minutes so I was able to read it and things are looking positive for Michigan with Conley" (Sorry, I don't know how to do the fancy tweet embed)
So I'm assuming this is what OP is referencing

Hey-o! Looks like Kate Upton follows me on twitter.
/wishful thoughts
November 26th, 2012 at 10:58 PM ^
Yes, definitely Kate Upton. Certainly not just some random dude.
Do not pay any attention to the man behind the curtain.

DP Fail
No, not that DP you sick-Os. That's what the rest of the internets are for.
November 27th, 2012 at 12:53 AM ^
about a possible "thing" between Kate Upton and Gareon Conley.
How's that for wild (but baseless) speculation?
November 26th, 2012 at 9:39 PM ^
Vague thread title. Fail.
Also, why did this need a new thread?
November 26th, 2012 at 9:39 PM ^
May I ask exactly what you are basing your assumptions on? I see a lot of conclusions without a lot of pesky data to support them.

Most of mine were against citing random unreviewed internet articles, though.

I don't often criticize threads, but this really is very poor. I just gained a new respect for Magnus.

me too?!
November 27th, 2012 at 12:14 AM ^
Hmmm....ok.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:41 PM ^
Can you make a more detailed title and could I get a link or a source. Please don't be vague...

The internets never lie! And I'm a French model!

Bill Greene posted an article on the Scout board

An experienced poster to the rescue. Thank you.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:43 PM ^
Scout account just tweeted that that Conley is still committed to Michigan. OP is talking about an article from them.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:46 PM ^
So I guess we'll see what this policy actually entails for a recruit now.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:57 PM ^
it just means that we'll continue speculating.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:59 PM ^
Sorry, I forgot I was on the internet.

November 26th, 2012 at 9:47 PM ^
Can you please provide a link regarding your assumptions?
November 26th, 2012 at 9:51 PM ^
I don't see th logic of him still being a commit. I mean, I understand why he;s different than Brown and Dawson, not sneaking around...but Brown and Dawson were sneaking around because of the policy. How does being honest about doing something you're not supposed to do help? How does the policy work if Conley can do this?

November 26th, 2012 at 9:54 PM ^
So he wasn't at the Ohio game? That's contrary to what I'd been told, but fine then.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:57 PM ^
November 26th, 2012 at 10:46 PM ^
He was there, though apparently as a fan in the stands.
November 26th, 2012 at 11:41 PM ^
11 warriors is an extremely credible site. He was there at the game also. If he wasn't interested in OSU then he would have chosen to sit at home and watch the game. I don't understand what he's doing, but it is quite interesting.
November 26th, 2012 at 10:36 PM ^
I assume a player has the freedom to attend any college football game he chooses. Maybe an official is the kicker? In any case, if the staff is cool with it then so am I. I'm just a lowly fan blindly trusting our coaching staff.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:53 PM ^
He finally responded to me. He says he's still committed to Michigan.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:55 PM ^
November 26th, 2012 at 10:16 PM ^
While I think it is sort of odd for grown adults with jobs, families, interests and accomplishments to be quite so concerned about decisions that 17 year olds make potentially impacting the football team they follow several years down the road I am, nonetheless, pleased to hear of this news.
November 27th, 2012 at 1:28 AM ^
He still sees himself as committed but has he spoke with the coaches yet?
November 26th, 2012 at 9:54 PM ^
November 26th, 2012 at 9:56 PM ^
That's using the ol' noddle, chappy. Might you have a pinch of snuff I could glean fom you, old boy?

November 26th, 2012 at 9:58 PM ^
November 26th, 2012 at 9:54 PM ^
the only plausible explanation is LT is definately not in play and the coaches realize they need GC but I am not so sure if I buy that
November 26th, 2012 at 9:59 PM ^
...The coaches appreciated him being up front about his intentions, unlike with Dawson and Brown.
November 26th, 2012 at 9:54 PM ^
November 26th, 2012 at 9:56 PM ^
Hoke needs to issue a PSA about this policy! If he visited for the OSU game, how is he still committed?

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2012/10/brady_hoke_explains_h…. Not exactly conclusive, but I don't think his general stance is a secret...
