Official Root Against ND Thread

Submitted by MontuckyYooper on

I'm so sick of the media falling all over the Irish.  I certainly would rather not hear about them every day for the next month.

Can a freshman QB lead the Trojans to a win?  Does Marquise Lee make a Heisman statement tonight?  Does the complete sham of ND's undefeated season come to an end tonight?  Is it wrong for me to want ND's fans to feel the kind of sadness I feel after The Game today?

NO BORGES TALK IN THIS THREAD PLZ

Ohio beats Michigan and finishes undefeated, Michigan state escapes bowl ineligibility and nd stays number one and heads to the nc game...this could potentially be the worst Michigan football Saturday ever

....but at least USC doesn't try to pretend to be something they're not.

If we are going to be subjected to another all-SEC BCS title game, I'd like to see UGA sneak in and pull off the upset.

This is OT for this thread, but didn't think it thread worthy (enough BS threads already).  So, if you're UCLA and Stanford is spanking you and you know that you're going to Stanford again next week.  Do you take out your key starters and find the meanest folks you can put on the field to physically beat on Stanford as much as possible (within the rules)?

Seeing Texas A&M up 42-7 in the first half further drives home just how badly Bama would role ND.  I know ESPN will spout off about how ND has a better D than A&M, but they are not even on the same planet as the A&M offense.

You guys almost have me convinced to root for Notre Dame.  But no.  I just honestly don't think ND is a good enough team to compete in the title game.  I'd rather see a good well played game; even if it means all SEC...

I'm all for an all SEC title game again. Wouldn't be hilarious? The ratings would continue to drop further than last year's, and the NCAA would feel the doom of the BCS. Not to mention, it would be the best football game..because, well, they're the best football teams. What's the fun in watching ND get smacked? Yawn.

Awww come on guys.  I was cheering hard for you guys today.  And I would be cheering for you to be smashing the SEC stranglehold.  My hatred begins and ends on gameday.

Gutted?  Most of our defense is back next year, so not too worried.  AND we'll actually have real CBs at the position as well.  We are almost at the point of reload status.  Not worried.

But speaking of gutted.  Denard is gone, you have no real threats at WR or RB.  90% of your offense just walked out the door.

Didn't Musburger sort of diss Woodson?

He brought up a table with #Tackles, #TFL, #INT for both Teo and Woodson and said "The most recent defensive player who won the Heisman was Charles Woodson... and compare him to Teo." Of course, Teo has twice as many tackles because he is a CB fergodsakes. I like Manti, but let me know when Manti plays offense and special team as well ... and when he scores a few TD's.

I keep thinking today cant get any worse and yet it does.  Michigan lost, ND is about to win, I just found out I left my wallet at the store this morning and I threw cookies at the TV during the game.

I'm waiting for somebody to break into my house and kick me in the balls or something.
