Brian will appear on Sports Talk 1050 WTKA in... oh, about 10 minutes or so. Presumably, he'll be discussing the Freep Jihad. Listen live on WTKA's website, or at 1050 AM here in Ann Arbor.

Sounds like Brian will have a different take on things than what I have heard so far. (They just spent a couple of minutes saying how great the Freep writer/editor are.)

Wait, the things that Michigan is accused of are really just secondary violations? Rosenberg and the Freep lose more and more credibility by the hour. The Freep should just eliminate the sports section. It is worthless.

And Brian just made a great comment about the compliance environment at Michigan, the records that they will likely have to back things up, and the secondary nature of these so-called violations. And there's actually some discussion about the team (Kelvin Grady, for example). There's a football season coming up? SDM

that is praising the investigative reporting done by the Free Press? The guy was complimenting the "exhausitive research" done on this - what a douche.

Just heard Rosenberg on air on my way home on the Huge Show (live to far away for WTKA).... Rosenberg said that he did not know off hand how many players that he interviewed were on the team and so therefore refused to try and answer the question. He said he interviewed 10 players total, yet wouldn't say how many were transfers and how many were on the team as of today. Simonson asked zero pertinent questions that got to the heart of the matter IMO.

Uh, the host is John U. Bacon, author of Bo's Lasting Lessons. I haven't thought at all that he's being an asshole to Brian, just trying to probe for answers. The ESPN.com guy, on the other hand, is completely worthless.

do not, i repeat... DO NOT turn over to The Ticket if you don't want to take your computer/radio and throw it into the wall. I tried to call in to make my points (a long laundry list) but the line was busy. They are bringing up no new points and refuse to hear that it may not be true.

For those who haven't checked out the link above, there is a poll at the bottom of their page asking for your reaction to the Freep article. The options: "100% fact", "smear campaign", and "somewhere in the middle". "Smear" has garnished a whopping 90% of the vote.
