I can't take it anymore. I'm ready for The Game. Chomping at the bit. It should be epic. This thread should be epic. Go Blue. Beat O-hi-o! Nuff said.

Now we're talking. OSU's defense looks terrible when Lewan makes his blocks. And Michigan is tightening it up on defense. Horrid start, but it's certainly looking better.

We drop a ton of guys on a 3 and 14 and the dude is still wide open? Just stay deep and let him get it in front of you! It's the small things that are killing us.

One thing that has been both really obvious and frustrating in this rivalry the past 10 years or so is that OSU's DB's have been significantly better than ours by a large margin.  They always seem to do defend our recievers better, tackle better, close to the football better, and just generally be bigger and faster.  Whereas their recievers seem to be often open by larger margins and we don't stay with recievers or close to the football with our DBs as fast.  Our last reciever to really be able to handle their DBs with ease was Braylon.  But, we haven't really had anyone in that mold for a while with his size and talent.  This has always been very obvious and frustrating to me.  And, by the fact that they have Burrows and Woodard, both over 6' tall, both over 185 lbs, and probably both more highly rated than anyone we get, this trend will continue for at least another 3 years.  For some reason this in particular bothers me.

That wasn't intended to be a knock on us, we have recruited well in that area.  But, our guys just don't seem to be quite to the level as theirs.  Our fast and higly skilled guys either seem to be short, under 5'10", or small under 180lbs.  None have the combination of height and size, none are 6" plus and 185 plus.  And, I don't remember the last time we were able to land a top position player outside of our region like Woodard.
