Thank God for that. Can you imagine what the last 40+ years would have been like if UM had been as annualy inept as the Lions?

For one thing, there would be no significant additions to the stadium; ineptitude doesn't result in capacity crowds year after year, and with no capacity crowds, the Big House would look pretty much like it did in 1968. Without the cash cow that the football program has been, the rest of the athletic campus would look much different, and not as good.

The lions are playing in a stadium about 10 yrs old now. They could still be playing in the silverdome. On a side note, I hope Calvin doesn't get to feeling like Barry did near the end. Hopefully we can become a little more disciplined and make the plays.

Sorry OP I appreciate your effort... but I've learned to value ESPN's "opinions" about as much as any generic, football loving, middle-aged male in the United States.  I swear, you could walk up to the average "slightly-overweight man who occasionally gambles on sports" and get an opinion that is just as good as any brain-damaged, former athlete Communications major at an SEC school or blonde bimbo talking head on ESPN could give you.

What I was trying to say is that his "woe is me" outlook is directly attributable to his anti-social behavior.  He's a douche but cries about being alone -- no wonder.
