Predictions for Mich/KState bball

Submitted by goblue85 on

Tommorrow at 430 ESPN is the NIT Final between Michigan and Kansas State.   I think it will be great game but think Michigan will play better than last night.  Let's go for the first championship of the hopefully many of the season!

Michigan 70

Kansas St 58

Will there be a replay of the last night's game with Pitt?

I think Mcgary has a break-out game of sorts, going for 10 + rebounds and abusing K-state.  Plus, they shoot the 3 much better this game.  And Robinson will make a few plays that make jaws drop.

Burke plays much better. We struggle a bit with K State's inside presence but win by 12-14 in a game that's not that close.

64-52.

Burke needs to show a little self control and not take so many bad shots.  Get your team-mates involved a little more, Trey!

That said I see a UM victory 73-61.  It's great to see the size and rebounding ability out there this season.

Nah, just playin.  K-state struggled against  Delaware.  We played sloppy for a good 2/3 of the game against Pitt.  I think we're gonna come out focused and knock them out quick.

Happy thanksgiving

Going through the team stats for each team  in the regular season, averaging out FGs, FTs and three-point shots per game and a few other factors, also taking into considerating average accuracy for each....or I could just say 71-64 Michigan.

More than likely we will have trouble with their frontcourt. I think we will shoot quite a bit better though and we will pull out a tight one 71-65. This team will be really good once McGary gets in shape and Horford fully recovers.

Michigan wins relatively comfortably after a close one last night with sloppy play.

Hardaway Jr. with two touchdowns and a field goal.

Chants of Beat Ohio at the end!

70-62 Michigan. I think Michigan showed important mental toughness last night. They'll need it tomorrow. Weber is a good coach, but so is Beilein. I actually think we'll be ahead in all phases of the game, but the most important position in basketball is point guard, and that's where we'll dominate the most. Trey's game last night was not bad, not nearly as bad as some people are making it out to be. I think he'll have an even better game against K State.

The Pitt win will look a lot bigger come March.  The fact the team can win games like that (even when not playing it's best) is very telling.

Weber will have his team ready, but Michigan will be too much.

Michigan has weapons all over the place - we all know that.  The thing that impressed me most was how poised the team was, especially the freshman.

KSU is good, but will not be ready for what hits them:

M - 75

KSU - 60
