Good luck tonight Boston College, try not to pull a "Boston College."
November 10th, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
You mean try not to be just awful at football?
November 10th, 2012 at 8:01 PM ^
Yeah, pretty much existing as a tire fire instead of a football program.
November 10th, 2012 at 7:47 PM ^
So....Green is at the Auburn game? That really cant be any fun watching them at this point.
November 10th, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
They are probably fairly happy at Auburn tonight after Bama choked.
November 10th, 2012 at 8:06 PM ^
/s kinda
November 10th, 2012 at 8:04 PM ^
I dunno, I'm pretty happy every other Friday. /boompayroll'd
November 10th, 2012 at 8:06 PM ^
First. Double. Ever. /lifequit
November 10th, 2012 at 8:07 PM ^
Oh God, it becomes a triple...and it wasn't even clever.
November 10th, 2012 at 7:51 PM ^
upsets the Irish. Nothing would make me happier than seeing Bama and Manti Teo lose in the same day. Fuck Nebraska too

November 10th, 2012 at 8:10 PM ^
Miller hype down here. All the ND fans in Ohio have suddenly come crawling out talking shit to everyone. I just want them to lose so they can eat shit again.

That call to take back the Penn St. touchdown was atrocious. I'm trying to judge as objectively as I can, and that ball was over the plain of the goal line. Maybe Nebraska still wins, but that call was awful.
November 10th, 2012 at 8:03 PM ^
Goddamn that game.
If the replay official doesn't completely shit all over himself there and take a touchdown away from PSU, it completely changes the complexion with a couple minutes to go.
November 10th, 2012 at 7:58 PM ^
LSU just settled for another FG to cut the Mississippi State lead to one point. Les Miles is doing everything possible to troll the people who complained about his tendency to play scared on Tiger Droppings....

Georgia up 21-0, Green has to be less than wow'd
November 10th, 2012 at 8:05 PM ^
Who on Auburn's staff is still organizing recruiting trips? It's not like they'll ever coach those players.
Ed: It's pretty clear no one is organizing game planning sessions or practices at this point.
November 10th, 2012 at 9:06 PM ^
I think they've had the same on-campus recruiting coordinator since Pat Dye's time. She and the hostesses aren't going anywhere, no matter what happens to the coaching staff.
November 10th, 2012 at 9:16 PM ^
Ha, that website is so amateur

November 10th, 2012 at 9:00 PM ^
I hope thats not the case, this is a pretty good argument for not going to auburn
November 10th, 2012 at 9:15 PM ^
Was thinking that might be the case. Nice to see visual evidence of it.
November 11th, 2012 at 12:23 AM ^
Green did make the trip to Auburn tonight, whereupon he remarked:
Man #AU treating me like a king lol
I trust Auburn's royalty treatment is within the confines of NCAA guidelines.
November 10th, 2012 at 8:16 PM ^
"The defense never got set for one second...." - referee's words
What a considerate man.
That being said, Mississippi State suffers through a blown screen, a pass made under pressure that results in a holding call and now a 48 yard FG...and it is good! 13-10 LSU. The Mad Hatter gambles against a player's ability and loses...
November 10th, 2012 at 8:18 PM ^
28-0 Georgia - Almost halftime. I hope Green is enjoying the game.
Edit: I just saw the post above. Either way, Auburn is terrible.

I have interest in watching ND, but am afraid i may contribute to ratings
November 10th, 2012 at 8:31 PM ^
Brian Kelly never looks happy. Never. Someone could tell him his wife has given birth to the second coming, and he'd look pissed.
November 10th, 2012 at 8:34 PM ^
I'm sure if his wife "gave birth to the second coming," Kelly WOULD be pissed -- because I'm sure it wouldn't be his.

Dude, everybody poops, even the second coming. That's a couple years worth of diapers.
November 10th, 2012 at 8:33 PM ^
Tough sledin! No matter what, the game will be spirited and very entertaining this year. Just gotta take care of Iowa next week and send the seniors out with a win.
And fing ell, Devin mutterfing Gardner!
November 10th, 2012 at 8:41 PM ^
Good effort from BC tonight...but 7-0 should about do it for ND.
November 10th, 2012 at 8:42 PM ^
BC showing a little life. They may be losing, but another week of close calls against lousy teams would surely hurt ND in the human polls.
Still, the Spaz has to go. Showing life isn't the same as playing competently. Every other pass, the recievers and QB aren't even on the same page.
November 10th, 2012 at 8:47 PM ^
Honestly, how can BC be this bad? They should at worst be a 6-6 team most years. There is more than enough talent to go around.
November 10th, 2012 at 9:21 PM ^
Man Auburn is bad at football.
November 10th, 2012 at 9:31 PM ^
Obviously Michigan has to win out for any shot at a BCS bowl but is it still possible even if Nebraska does too?
It looks like BCS bowls will have 2 teams from each the SEC, ACC, Big 12, plus ND and at least one each from the B1G and Pac 12. Stanford is 8-2 and has games at Oregon and at UCLA. If they lose to Oregon next week, they will be 8-3 with losses to Oregon, Washington, and ND. UCLA has WSU tonight, then USC and Stanford. If they beat USC but lose to Stanford, they will have three losses plus the Pac 12 CG. If Oregon State loses to Oregon, then they will also have three losses but one of them was to Washington.
In such a case, would a Michigan team that won out including over top five Ohio be higher ranked and able to get an at-large bid over a Pac 12, non-AQ, or Big East team?
November 10th, 2012 at 9:32 PM ^
Big East still has auto bid...
November 10th, 2012 at 9:34 PM ^
No way in hell the BIG gets more than one team this year. If they do, even I'll protest the travesty.
November 10th, 2012 at 9:57 PM ^
No. Stanford/someone else will take that spot from us.
No chance a 3 loss Michigan rises enough in the polls to get into the top 14 anyway.
November 10th, 2012 at 9:32 PM ^
Happy Birthday, Boston College.
Now go out and do your dang job and beat ND

Cal and Oregon players fighting on the field.
November 10th, 2012 at 11:59 PM ^
has a problem
He won a National Championship with Tommie Tubberville's boys and a QB who may or may not have been on the take. With the majority of the team now his kids they are just terrible and badly undersized in the SEC.
Fire him now, two yeas removed from a National Title or do you wait him out?
November 11th, 2012 at 12:18 AM ^
But Auburn does get to subtract whatever salary he gets from his next job. He will be fired.
