I saw this posted by multiple friends from Ohio yesterday and noticed that it had a lot of views.

However, I'm still not convinced.

so it must be true.

"After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and making a name for himself in stand-up comedy, Carey eventually gained popularity starring on his own sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, and serving as host of the U.S. version of the improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, both of which aired on ABC."

A few things:

  1. Skyline Chili is amazing.
  2. Buckeyes (the candy) are actually really good.
  3. I live in Ohio.
  4. Charles Woodson (and many other Michigan sports legends) is from Ohio.
  5. MGrowOld lives in Ohio.

I'd like to think that when you put all these things together, that upgrades Ohio's status a little bit from "worst state ever," but that university in Columbus is really hurting the state's value.

The bottom line is that companies like McDonalds and Skyline produce the best and most efficiently made products in their field, which is why they make the money they do. When you're talking about making a better product, a lot more goes into "better" than saying you can make your family a delicious set of burgers in tiny batches.

  1. I like Ohio girls.
  2. Cedar Point.
  3. Athletes that venture north (i.e. Woodson, Howard, Burke).
  4. Skyline.
  5. Mgrowold/Moleskyn live there.

A few musicians get the honorable mention tag as well.
