1.  Totally agree with Oreg St as preferable opponent

2.  Did you retyped the whole table or does ESPN actually refer to Staee as State?

3.  If ND is going to make the BCS I think I'd like to see them get pounded by Bama/LSU or shredded by Oregon...

I can't think of anything more useless than ongoing bowl projections. Have they remained consistent for even 2 straight weeks this year? I believe we've been penciled in for every single possible bowl available to a B1G team.

Just win baby.

I think Nebraska will drop a game and the OSU game will decide wether we go to the B1G championship or not. But yeah I'd much rather play oregon state or basically anyone from the Pac 10 besides oregon than Georgia or Florida

Oregon state in the rose bowl as an at large? Doubtful. They'll have 2 or 3 losses by the end of the season. Still have to play Stanford and Oregon. Notre Dame or Oklahoma are more likely at this point.

A 3 loss team will depend on whether they qualify for an at-large berth.

That is the reason why Oregon State likely won't play in the Rose Bowl. They will have two late season losses (assuming they lose to Stanford and Oregon, as I think they will) which will very likely drop them out of the Top 14 in the BCS poll.

If they make different projections every week, they don't really ever have to know what they're doing, because they have a built-in excuse.  Also, they can eventually get a lot of the teams correct that way: just not all in the same week.

If KSU and Oregon both go undefeated then KSU better get the spot in the national championship. Just because Oregon scores a lot doesn't mean they should make it.

Please let Michigan get to the Rose Bowl and face Oregon State. What an easy matchup that would be. Not that they are bad. But they aren't Oregon, USC or some SEC school in Florida.

It's very well possible that we have 4 very competent teams going undefeated this season: Alabama, Oregon, Notre Dame, and Kansas State. It's a real shame that only two of them get to play for the Championship. I wish they could have the 4-team playoff this year.

Dont count us out yet bros.  It wasn't too long ago when they had us in the Rose Bowl.  Crazy things happen and Nebraska isn't immune and they play PSU.

I could see LSU slipping to the Capital One bowl, which would be an interesting match up if we also eneded up there. I'm still pulling for the Rose, but I don't know if Nebraska will lose another with their schedule.

an at-large berth to a BCS bowl if Nebraska, Michigan, and OSU remain undefeated going into The Game?

I'd imagine Michigan will be about 20th if we beat both NW and Iowa and Ohio will probably be in the top 5 in the Coaches poll if they are 11-0.  I can't help but feel but there's a chance that Michigan can jump to the top 14 if they pull out the win.

Of course, a lot of things will have to roll our way (and Rose bowl will be preferable) but it's an interesting scenario.

Even if this BCS doesn't happen, I think there's a good chance that we'll jump Nebraska in the rankings if this scenario does play out despite the extra game that Nebraska plays as well - I'm sure the internet will go crazy in either case :)

I'd rather play Georgia just because we haven't .

I have to believe LSU would also be in line for that bowl game, would make an intrigueing selection for the media.   Miles v Hoke

Kind of hard to fill your bowl slots when administrators keep doing dumb things.
