Why do teams always seem to change up what has been working for them on defense at the end of the game?  it never works.

I can't speak for everyone, but because we played Bama and got smoked I want to see it happen to other teams. I want to see how they do against over top competition.

I also want to see an Oregon vs Bama MNC game because of the wide difference in philospohy. Oregon is an offensive juggernaut who rarely ever gets stopped and Alabama is a mini NFL team that strangles the opposing offense to death. I think its an intriguing matchup.

I've lived most of my life in and around South Bend. I hate ND. I hate ND so much more than OSU or MSU. A lot of ND fans are essentially Lou Holtz.: they think ND is the best team in the nation every year. This is the same fan base that claimed they should be in the national championship game at 10-2 because they almost beat USC. I don't ever want ND having a shot at the title. Ever. Anything can happen in one game and ND is the luckiest team in sports. In 2006 I rooted for USC to curbstomp ND and I would do it every time. I thoroughly enjoyed the OSU beatdown of ND in that bowl game.

The short version: To hell with Notre Dame.

It is more fun to see the South win than to see ND win. And honestly I think Bama takes any of the three undefeated teams behind the woodshed. Death Valley night games are pretty much the hardest games to win in college football and Bama just became only the second team to ever beat Les in such a game (the other was also to a #1 team).

As much as I hate this SEC crap, Bama is easily the best team in the country. I don't think ND belongs in the top 5. And mostly, I expect Oregon to slip up at the end and K St could be missing their QB depending on what his injury was.

And come on, wouldn't it be fun to watch Oregon and Bama play just to see how that defense would stop the best offense in the nation?

For the last time, even if ND got there, they would be torn apart by either Bama, Kansas State, or Oregon. Why do you want to see one team dominate and the rest lag behind? Someone has to be the one to de-throne bama. We couldn't do it, but LSU had the best chance possible and shit the bed worse than sparty. Hell, they DID dethrone bama last year but the media bias kept them in it.

Yeah we would most likely get smoked in that game. I just hope Nebraska loses a couple of games to end the season and we make it to the Rose Bowl because we'd most likely end up playing an at large team like Boise St.

Well, Alabama just rolled out its own red carpet to the national championship.

Outside of maybe Oregon, there's not a team in this country that can stop them. Knowing Saban, though, I imagine he'll be able to craft a masterful game plan that will limit Oregon to under 200 total yards.

I want this game to happen. I really have no idea what will happen.

I'd assume Oregon would be held under 25 points and Bama would score around 30, but I really do not have any clue. Oregons offense is just so tricky and fast and that would be the key to the game.
