Does Borges get credit for getting a back-up QB who had been playing wide receiver ready to play and put up points on the road in a week?

Offensively at least... defense has been a bit spotty at times.

Poster below, that's laughable. Borges is calling a good game. He knows what he is doing when you give him a prostyle QB.

It's going to be fun watching the MSU and Nebraska game. Either we take over first or I get to LOL at sparty.

Even if it's Minnie, Devin is clearly miles ahead of Denard in terms of FB IQ and throwing mechanics. It's hard to admit because of everything Denard has done for us over the last 4 years... but it's the truth.

Is Roh hurt?  I haven't seen on the field much this game and have seen him standing on the sidelines.

But is this the game with the most pass interference calls across college football for the whole season?

Everyone needs to temper their excitement for DG a little bit. No, he is not better than Denard. We are all excited to have a QB option that could be a threat next year, but this is Minn.

Come on. Based on a couple deep throws that could, no would have been picked off against better DBs? He has looked good today against a big ten bottom dweller, and I'm glad that the guy is having a breakout game, but all you need to do is rewatch the past few spring games to realize how silly you sound. Furthermore, throwing mechanics? Neither Denard nor Devin are picture perfect throwers. Both have great arm strength, but your kidding yourself if you don't see DG short arming his throws.

and who has Denard looked good against again? Other than B10 bottom dwellers and Baby Seals? Let's make a list:

ND 2011

MSU 2011

EMU(?!) 2011

SDSU(?!) 2011

Iowa 2011

VT 2011

Alabama 2012

ND 2012

MSU 2012

The wins on that list happened despite Denard's arm. Some of them happened thanks to Denard's legs. The only two good games vs decent competition Denard's ever had (THROWING) were vs Nebraska(self imploding) and OSU(vs fickel...)

There is no way that a rational person can believe that at this point in their respective football careers Devin Gardner gives us a better chance at winning a football game compared to Denard Robinson. That thought is silly, in my opinion, but so is us arguing about exactly how awesome DG is right now. We both are glad he's on the team, and we both are looking forward to seeing him kick some butt next year, everything else is arguing over minutia. It was a good game. Go Blue.
