and in a complete shocker...Sparty fans are laughing at Stave being hurt. Never thought much of that fanbase...but that seems even low for them.

Jeff Casteel's defenses do seem to be decent at forcing turnovers.  USC has three so far this half.  However, when Zona isn't forcing turnovers, they're getting shredded - SC has almost 400 yards of offense and it's not yet halftime.

As opposed to the Kareem-style skyhook that Wozniak caught, O'Brien throws a dart to Abberdaris for a first down.  Wisconsin could very will get to midfield by nightfall at this rate.

Collin Klein just made an outlet pass on a zone read/pass package option. I was busy saying, "I wish we'd run that," but then the receiver got tripped up for no gain.

TD pass on the next play, though. 19-10 extra point pending.

It is entirely possible that MSU's defense will allow less than 20 points combined to Michigan and Wisconsin and yet they may lose both games.

Next time we complain about Borges just remember....it could be worse.  It could be a LOT worse.

I'm not thrilled with Borges, and think we could have done better last weekend, but I'm not super-upset. Playing conservative football was wise, and MSU's defense is good. And there was never a point where the gameplan Michigan was using wasn't viable and even wise.

And there were 0 relevant turnovers and a win on the ledger. Good enough against an archrival.

Pick Six for Minnesota. 40-7, extra point pending. This Michael Carter guy they have at DB is pretty good.

The only question left is, who will Purdue hire next year? That guy from Toledo? Frank Solich?
