One thought to discourage comments like the OP's, "Denzel Ward is the obvious candidate. I would love to see Damon Webb."
I assume that any lack of excitement that exists is grounded in Ward's absence from the early recruiting rankings. There's an obvious reason for this: he didn't play football until this season. The 247 rankings for the class of 2014 literally came out before he'd ever played football, and I think the same is true of the ESPN watch list. Scout would have had, what, one or two games to go on?

I think the OP just meant we are looking very good for Ward whereas Webb is a bit more uncertain so the OP would like it to be Webb b/c then we still look very good for Ward. Just my guess. I didn't take it to mean the OP was not excited if it was Ward.
