As a Yankee fan: fuck. he won't be able to pitch on 2 days rest in Game 5. On the other hand, there won't be a game 5. I'm just hoping they lose now so this embarrassing postseason ends without further games and A-Rod/Granderson talk (except A-Rod trade talk, that's always welcome if true). Go Tigers!

As a Yankee fan, i'm hoping it ends today.   No reason to postpone the execution.  Team looks lost out there and now Tex, one of the best fielding first baseman just made 2 errors (unless you believe the scorer's nice benefit to fielder).

It'll be nice to stop talking about A-Rod ineptitude (and hopefully get rid of him for a turkey sandwich), Rob Deer - oops, I mean Granderson, Swisher, etc.

Wow defensive edge is clearly in the tigers favor this series. Who would have thunk it? I know people have already commented how homer the broadcast is towards yankees struggling hitting instead of tigers dominating SP. Its worth noting again though.

the commentary insanely off-kilter? I just assumed it was some New York feed. Anyway, when the Tigers are making the commentators eat crow inning in and inning out, it ain't all bad.

At least they've stopped saying, "The Yankees are never out of a game! Almost too relaxed," ad nauseum.

EDIT: I HATE the Yankees, but can't help feeling badly for Sabathia here. Ouch.

...I thought the Yankees looked old during last year's playoffs.  How the hell did they manage to win the division this year?  Sure, Boston imploded but Tampa is a damn good team.

Yankees are old and are used to being able to coast he last 7-10 days of the season in order to get ready for playoffs. The Orioles forced them to play everyday and then played them in a tough 5 game ALDS, where multiple games went 12-13 innings. Yankees just ran out of juice and if not for Ibanez they would not have beat Baltimore to even get here. Go Tigers!!!!

Looking Very Good through 4 innings....7 K's! Yankees look disinterested or OLD...maybe both? Too bad the Orioles couldn't have scored a few more runs....they may have given Detroit a little better series? I definitely don't think they would have got swept, which seems to be the result of this series.

Ok, do we make a game of in & bring in Valverde for the 5th inning?  Give'em at least a sporting chance?

It's a real shame the Yankees shut down during this series. I would have liked to see a series longer than 4 games.

Lot of time off for the Tigers, that could be a good thing...or a bad thing. Anyways, good luck to them in the World Series

Other than the 4 runs Valverde gave up in game 1, it's been total domination.  Do the Yanks even have the will left to manage a hit today?  Wow!
