ESPN: Top HS defensive stars of week. Wyatt Shallman
The article is paywalled:
RB/DE Wyatt Shallman
Novi (Mich.) Detroit Catholic Central, 6-3, 250, Class of 2013
CONSIDERING: Committed to Michigan.
PERFORMANCE: Eight tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble.
WHAT IMPRESSED: Shallman is being recruited to Michigan for offense, but he also plays defensive end for his high school team. Coming off a hamstring injury, Shallman has showed he is still a force, even if he's not 100 percent. -- Tom VanHaaren
Wyatt Shallman made the list for his defensive abilities. It will be interesting to see what position he ends up at in college.

I thought he was a pretty solid Michigan commit. All kidding aside, he will be a fullback because of MANBALL etc.

he had hamstring problems last year too. hopefully he gets healthy and stay healthy going forward

He will be a fullback, IMO. I think we've seen enough evidence in the last few weeks on how the lack of a good FB inhibits our TB production.

He'll be a tailback, not a fullback. And at that size, he can lead block for himself.

He's a TB now.....in high school.

The coaches have promised Shallman a shot at running back, and I think that's where he'll stay.
This isn't to say that things don't change, so we'll see.

Who did they play? Was it a decent team?

Yes, it was a good team. They actually lost, but Shallman still did a great job.

His position is death back half fullback half tailback all dead defenders
