The more I see them, the more it looks like a fighting goat on the side of their helments.

Notre Dame Fighting Goats! (it's fitting for the cowardly way of canceling our series with them)

I like them. I can't wait until Michigan does something similar. Recruits dig it, which is why teams do this. It will piss the traditionalists off, but who cares? It's one game. You guys get the other 11.

Oh look, you answered your own question.  So basically anyone that "cares" about "tradition", which by my estimation includes a large group of the Michigan fan-base, will have a problem if Michigan decided to change their helmet..

because I recognize that it's all about money.  Even having multiple jerseys gives the fans more opportunities to purchase merchandise which helps the school and Adidas make money.  Changing the helmets doesn't really provide any benefit as far as I can tell, and if a recruit is going to pick their college based on number of uniform and helmet change, then I would question that player's ability to succeed in a college classroom.

I totally see why you guys are so upset about Notre Dame's new helmets.  Specifically, the new helmets at Notre Dame implicate the following ethical issues and will negatively impact Michigan fans or the Michigan football team in the following ways:

I brought home my wife from her second c-section yesterday but still managed to get to watch the Michigan game on DVR.  Bascially, I have been under a rock for 72 hours and just now saw the helmets.  All I thought was ERMAHGERD LERPREKERNS!!
