OSU QB Cardale Jones Twitter hilarity

Submitted by Benoit Balls on

So, apparently 3rd string OSU QB Cardale Jones is not fond of having to go to classes while he is in Columbus. He posted this to his Twitter Account:

some lulz for Friday afternoon. The MGoGrammar Police could have a field day with this one

This is a kid from a poor neighborhood, with bad grades from a bad high school who had to go to prep school to qualify... no, he really doesn't know.

It might not make sense to us, but it is what it is.

Also, by all accounts that I've read, Cardale has a terrible attitude (as evidenced by his tweets).

Well yeah, he's a freshman.  Every freshman who comes in is behind kids older than them, for the most part.

But Cardale in only one year behind Miller, and has a pretty highly rated guy a year behind him.  Add that to the fact that Cardale has never proven to be a great QB prospect, and that he is far from an Urban-style QB (no pun intended), I highly doubt we ever see Cardale Jones playing meaningful minutes as an OSU QB.

I'm glad he picked OSU and not Michigan.  I would have thought that going to Fork Union would have straightened him up a little bit.  I guess he still doesn't understand...

An amazing quote - simple yet profound, innocently assertive and completely honest without any regard to the long term significance. He should win 2012's most honest thing said by an athlete.

That is from the OSU just makes it even better.

"Why should I have to work for everything? It's like saying I don't deserve it!"

I hope that your shift manager at Taco Bell will help sponsor your neighborhood leauge, Cardell, so that you can still come to play FOOTBALL.

Holy smokes.  Just what you want to hear from a quarterback, albeit a back-up one.  If that's what the guy's attitude is about learning, it makes you wonder why Ohio (or any top program) would offer him a scholarship (like us!).

Just add that to the "Great things said by an OSU QB!" list.

BTW, did anyone else notice he spelled his name wrong too?  It's listed at the top as cArdel, but then below that for his twitter handle he has it as cOrdel... Also his twitter handle is @cordel 10, when obviously by his picture he is 12.  Granted he wore 10 in HS, so that one is semi-excusable.  His whole twitter account is full of fail!

I'm loving buckeyeplanet on this one.

Most popular comments? "I came to get f'ed up!" and "I went for pussy and beer!" A bastion of higher education, clearly. Seriously, 9/10ths of the responses support this kid in saying that!

Hello, Gordon?  This is Mark.  Tell your 3rd string quarterback to put a lid on it or we'll get pressured to investigate you again.
