Thursday Night CFB And NFL Football Thread

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

So, there are a   few games in progress or about to start:

In  the NFL, the Rams are up on the Cardinals 7-3 with about 2 minutes left in the 1st quarter.

In CFB, the marquis game tonight is clearly USC vs.Utah, starting in just a moment. On CBS Sports Network, East Carolina vs.UCF started at 8 PM and it is 14-14 with the 2nd quarter having started just a moment ago. Over at ESPNU, Arkansas State and FIU are taking a 10-7 game (FIU lead) into halftime in just a moment.

I thought it better to do this in one thread to reduce clutter.

USC is loaded w NFL talents just like always. However, the top prospect doesn't go to USC, it's at Utah. Star Lotulelei is a stud at NT. Kalied Holmes is hurt but has to control Star or Barkley will have a long day

Even though I already created this thread, I'm going to post in this one. I guess I will be nice this once.

Not enough fake points to start my own post, but the Michigan softball team beat the NPF all-star team tonight. This is only the second loss for the NPF all star team in it's three year history of playing college squads. Freshman shortstop (and, by the looks of her bio, STUD) Sierra Romero hit a two-run HR in the fifth as Michigan came back from a 2-0 deficit.

UTES!!!  That's the handicap they needed to win this game; I just don't think it'll be enough.  Utah has a backup (SR) QB playing, who I'm not quite sure is going to be able to lead this team to enough points to hang with USC.  Their defense on the other hand, may be able to!....

i can't see how he plays again before next week at the earliest. it's also weird that guys whack him on the helmet as he comes to the sideline with a probable concussion, but maybe that's not the level of subsequent impact it takes to cause problems.

I just bought the Sharp 80" television. I got it for $3,749, which is a bit pricey still, but a lot of retailers are still selling it for an average of $4,000 to $4,500. I also got no shipping charge and avoided taxes (thanks eBay).

Me and the wife got a floor model 82" last winter for 1800. The lighting mechanism wasn't working correctly. They sold me a 5 year full warranty for $59. Brought it home and called the warranty company and they replaced everything. You got a great deal on yours.

that pass should've been an interception because woods ran the wrong route because he has a fucking concussion. come on. i can't believe the sideline reporter is defending this.

Maybe the NCAA should make rule about if you get knocked out on the field, you have to sit out. A boxing referee would call the fight after Wood stumbled around like that. But he Sita out one play. I like all efforts for player safety is just a shame without actually doing much to ensure their safety.

Has anyone heard any news regarding ram's wide receiver Danny Amendola? Not home but I heard that he got hurt in the 2nd quarter and I started him on my fantasy team. Any chance he comes back?
