The only thing I took from the ND game was that our D might not be that bad and that we can move the ball against a semi good D..We'll be top 25 before all said and done..I think that college football might have a down yr with Powerhouses. Bama is really the only team that has really impressed me.

In regards to Michigan moving out of the poll, I think this was based not of the fact that they lost but how they lost. The turnovers in the second half is what did it. My problem with this is poll is that:
1. OSU moved up- Not sure why OSU moved up after struggling to beat UAB. Althought I think they are improving its nothing that warrants them moving from 16--->14
2. Wisconsin ranked in the coaches polls- Not sure how a team that lost to Oregon State, and escaped lesser competition in Utah State and N. Iowa.

OSU only moved up because Clemson and Oklahoma fell, leaving two open spots in the polls.

Politicians like to say that the only poll that matters is the one that is taken when all the votes have been counted in an election. So, while many people are sick and tired of reading or hearing about politicians . . .
Relying on polls to predict either a Big Ten Championship or Doom and Gloom based on standings after four games can be risky, even when supposedly neutral computer programs are involved in the polling. For example, the 4-0 Ohio Bobcats are ranked 28th in the latest RealTimeRPI.com poll http://realtimerpi.com/football/ncaaf_Men.html, and the 4-0 Ohio Buckeyes are ranked 35th in the same poll (behind the Michigan Wolverines, ranked 29th in that poll.)
Despite their disappointing performance so far, it’s still too early to know where this Michigan football team will be ranked at the end of this season.

What does RealTimeRPI base that off of? Michigan State at 14 is surprising.

I mean, we deserve to drop out after that. We'll be back in eventually, but for now it's fair.
But ND played a team that turned the ball over 6 times and basically gifted them a touchdown with a horrific interference penalty...and yet only won by 7 points.
That's a bad win, any way you cut it.
