OT - UFC 152: Jon "Bones" Jones vs. Vitor Belfort open thread

Time to get your mind off of the game and watch these guys smash some faces.

The PPV is already well under way.

Two championships are on the line tonight. The first ever Flyweight title fight between Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson and Joseph Benavidez. Then, of course, we have our main event, Jon Jones versus Vitor Belfort.

Enjoy.

Don't roll your eyes at the little guys. They always put on a great show.

"Mighty Mouse" is one of the fastest fighters you'll ever see.

Benavidez has legitmiate KO power.

This is already shaping up to be a great fight as they appear to split the first two rounds.

Bendavidez clips "Mighty Mouse" and has a guillotine choke in deep. This one could be over. Mighty Mouse is struggling.

Edit: Mighty Mouse escapes, but the biggest moment of the fight thus far is in favor of Joseph. Big escape by Mighty Mouse.

Wow, I'd hate to be a judge. I have it 2-2, so in all likelihood the 5th round will decide who takes home the first ever Flyweight belt.

Edit: I have Mighty Mouse winning the fight, but this was a good, hard fought, exciting title fight. The little guys represented themselves well.

We'll see what the decision is.....

48-47 Johnson

48-47 Benavidez

49-46 Johnson

Winner by split decision, of the first ever 125lb belt, Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson!

OHHHHH VITOR BELFORT ALMOST FINISHES THE FIGHT WITH AN ARMBAR!

That looked nasty. We were so, so, so close to a monster upset.

Edit: Jones comes back to win the round, but that was far and away the closest Jones has ever come to being defeated. He might have popped his arm. Jones had to slam him twice to get out of it. Vitor is a bloddy mess.J

Double Edit: Jones starting to pick Viotr apart on the feet and on the ground. Vitor appears to be going for the home run sub.

Triple Edit: Jon Jones the winner by submission (Kimura) in the 4th round.

His arm was fucked up and he still fought a great fight. Most men would have tapped when their arm was bent(ahem Vitor) but not Johnny Bones. He'll be on the shelf for a minute, but I'll watch all his fights. On firstrowsports.eu of course!
