Michigan tickets are so hot right now

Submitted by Tshimanga Cowabunga on

The Michigan-Notre Dame game average ticket price is currently at $371.60, the fourth hottest ticket this year. Michigan appears in the top ten also for the Ohio, MSU and Alabama games.

Alabama is the only other team on the list more than twice.

Not sure Alabama-Auburn is going to be worth it this year.

I think Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Michiana are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling tickets is a good start.

Love your username.  I had to cancel my subscription recently and I'm totally bummed about it.  I've been a long-time listener.  But with a higher mortgage payment comes a reduction in enjoyable excesses . . .

I have an opportunity to buy a student ticket for $200 to the msu game  I want it but there's a possibility I may not be able to go.  Is it going to be a problem to resell it?  (i'm not a student)

This may have changed, so maybe a current student can confirm or deny this, but in order for a non-student to use a student ticket, it needs to have a validation sticker on the ticket.  The validation sticker costs 25 bucks and needs to be purchased by a student at MUTO (or maybe any ticket office, I'm not sure).  Once the ticket has the sticker, it becomes just like any other ticket that anyone can use.

Find out if your 200 bucks gets you the validation.  If not, it will not only cost you extra, but it will be a hassle for you since you aren't a student.

above face value when it comes to tickets but to be honest for a game like this 100 each to 150 sounds pretty sensible. If you buy it for 100 odds are you'll pay 150.00 for it cause of the validation sticker  which is around 50.00 I think or 32.00? I don't remember but 200.00 for 1 ticket is absolutely in my opinion outrageous. Unless its the Rose Bowl or National Championship than I can see it but for a regular conference game I don't think it should be sold for more than 150.
