Carson Bulter loves to fight

Submitted by Goblue89 on
Apparently Carson Butler likes to fight with his own team as well. From ESPN: The Lions made plenty of mistakes: turnovers, penalties, dropped passes. Schwartz also had to deal with a pregame fight between tight end Carson Butler and defensive end Dewayne White, who tangled during warmups. "I've never seen that before," Schwartz said. "The thing I like about it is they were competitive and going hard. I came in and said, 'Some of y'all thought the game started at 7 o'clock instead of 7:30.' Obviously that's something that shouldn't happen and it's already been addressed." White hasn't put the skirmish behind him yet. "We'll probably have to go at it one more time when we're not playing a game -- next week sometime," he said. "There's going to be bad blood between us." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=290822005 Was that RR's fault too?

that man is an idiot. no matter how many chances he gets, he does his best to fuck them up. back when he was still on the team, i heard he was the scariest person in the locker room. No one wanted to tangle with him. I mean NO ONE. I'm happy RichRod kicked him off.

fighting is fairly ubiqitious in pre season pro football, even among those on the same team. not to stand up for him but this isn't that big of a deal. just ask bill romanowski

Think about that for a moment, when you get to a game early you see the offense and the defense scrimmage a few plays, in a very light manner, its just a run through... Its amazing someone could get that angry during a half speed run through and have so little mindfulness of where they are or what the situation is. To start a fight against a teamate who could have been injured 30 minutes before kickoff, dear lord these players are morons. Aug '95

...that Jim Schwartz is now persona non grata at Detroit Renaissance. Obviously, he didn't know how to handle such an exemplary individual like Butler. The most interesting thing about this fight is the public bad blood afterwards. White saying there might be a round 2 -- wtf did Butler do?

It's a good thing when players get a little chippy during practice on occasion.. before a pre-season game? Really Carson?

At least if he continues to besmirch his own rep throughout his NFL career, it will always be as an ex-Wolverine that was booted from the team. For all you RR detractors and Carr fans, please remember, Carr kept him, RR booted him. I'm just sayin'
