Miracle TD for OU haha.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:12 PM ^
with a touchdown off a tipped pass! 14-10
September 1st, 2012 at 2:12 PM ^
Quite possibly the luckiest toss of the day for the Bobcats...and now its only a 4 point game.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:13 PM ^
Tettleton puts up one of those dreaded "SOMEBODY CATCH THIS!" throws, and someone does. 14-10 Penn State after the PAT.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:13 PM ^
I was going to say he went in unmolested, but that doesn't seem appropriate in a game versus PSU.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:15 PM ^
you give a scholarship to a long snapper.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:19 PM ^
Wow Western's offense is PATHETIC!
September 1st, 2012 at 2:25 PM ^
How in the world is WMU still in this game?
September 1st, 2012 at 2:24 PM ^
Scores again on a qb sneak.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:28 PM ^
Buckeys secondary is a little suspect today. Miami keeps putting up big plays through the air.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:32 PM ^
Yeah. Had they not kept shooting themselves in the foot, Miami would be tied or only down 7.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:32 PM ^
If Miami didn't have the dropsies this would be a different game.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:34 PM ^
Ohio takes the lead...and finally drives the length of the field.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:34 PM ^
TD OHIO (NTo). This would be an inauspicious start for O'Brien.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:35 PM ^
Ohio scores. This could get interesting.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:37 PM ^
....since this review goes their way. Nice combination of speed and some balls (particularly Tettleton trying to go Mike Hart over the pile) challenging the Penn State defense, which had managed to stop them cold in the first half.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:36 PM ^
Did Penn St steal the Northwestern cat "roar" or did OHIO bring that with them. Man that's annoying.
OHIO with the point lead, will see if Penn St responds or folds.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:44 PM ^
Penn State has had the cat roar for a while. By far the most annoying thing about the stadium.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:37 PM ^
Awweh, Happy Valley haz a sad now...
September 1st, 2012 at 2:42 PM ^
A sentence that starts "you don't want to compare the two, but..." should probably not continue. If it continues by comparing a child rape scandal to trailing Ohio by 3, it most definitely should not continue.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:44 PM ^
is with ESPNs College Football Theme song being so out of sync? Please tell me I'm not the only one who notices it. it sounds horrible.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
have a real good time.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
Syracuse only down by 8 now
September 1st, 2012 at 2:47 PM ^
Just scored two touchdowns, the NW-Cuse game is interesting now.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:48 PM ^
Northwestern still can't play defense, that's surprising considering Fitzgerald has been there for quite some time.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:52 PM ^
It's got to be hard to recruit defense to a place whose been known for 45-43 games since those kids were born.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:48 PM ^
I've been flipping around the channels and sadly PSU vs NTO is the best game on.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:49 PM ^
Illinois just put the game away with a pick 6. I think that's 5 turnovers for Western now. Remember when some guy thought Carder was the best QB in the state?
September 1st, 2012 at 2:49 PM ^
Holy cow we only have 5 hours till Kickoff
September 1st, 2012 at 2:51 PM ^
Carder again with a pick, this time it goes back for 6. 24-7 Illini, god damnit.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:51 PM ^
Meyer is going to kill Miller by keeping him in the game so long. Twice he's come out for "cramps" this half.
September 1st, 2012 at 3:10 PM ^
Meyer to Miller: "You think Tebow ever got cramps?!?!? Now go change your tampon and get back out there!"
September 1st, 2012 at 2:52 PM ^
So Syracuse attempts more than 10 passes a quarter? Might want to start thinking about maybe blitzing a little from time to time.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:52 PM ^
Carder is sucking it up today.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:53 PM ^
Perhaps Ohio (NTO) is becoming a power in football and basketball.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:53 PM ^
I love that OHIOs RB is named Blankenship. Brings back fond memories of watching MXC marathons in college. Meanwhile, OHIO pulls a FG and PSU is still only down 3.
September 1st, 2012 at 3:14 PM ^
Kenny Blankenship!!! I used to die laughing watching MXC!
September 1st, 2012 at 6:20 PM ^
MXC has to be one of the funniest tv shows that has been on in a very long time. I have no idea how some of those people were not killed or paralyzed after some of the accidents.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:58 PM ^
The Bobcats have converted six 3rd downs in a row and are threatened yet again, but alas...
....and the FG is no good, but the point is that short passes to the edge and dead-on rushing are starting to wear down Penn State's defense. If the Bobcats can get another drive like this going and actually find the uprights or the end zone, they might do this.
It may be time to put this one in the "upset watch" column. It has the potential.
September 1st, 2012 at 2:58 PM ^
Ugh Northwestern, why are you going deep? Throw an under route and set up the 4th down conversion
September 1st, 2012 at 3:01 PM ^
If McGloin had scrambled they could have converted the 4th
September 1st, 2012 at 3:01 PM ^
Penn State may or may not win today, but they are not very athletic on offense.
September 1st, 2012 at 3:04 PM ^
i see Air Force is looking good so far.. oh wait they are playing Idaho St
September 1st, 2012 at 3:08 PM ^
I didn't think Penn St would look this bad.
September 1st, 2012 at 3:10 PM ^
Was when we upgraded hardware to avoid these 503-504's....where's all that Kickstarter money??
More seriously, I'm sure Mickey's kid will lead them to good things, and I don't put too much into first games (MSU isn't that bad; ND isn't that good), but if this is PSU's "we just wanna play football and we'll show everyone" game, they're in for a long ten years.
And is it wrong I want to live in a Heineken world, but just without the beer? (I mean it's ok as generic beers go...)
September 1st, 2012 at 3:16 PM ^
Loved watching Mickey with his goofy-ass batting stance.
September 1st, 2012 at 3:11 PM ^
Man, Ohio came to play. PSU looks lost on D.
