I have tried to find other archived games from other teams - and they all suck. They have cheesy background music and are borderline unwatchable. You do great editing and have covered so much for us to watch in 6-7 minute increments.

games in which M lost, but we still played well w/ some great plays. The Rose Bowl vs. Texas comes to mind, wouldn't mind seeing the highlights from those games.

You're like the tenth person who has asked for highlights of that game. We may have played well and were a field goal away from winning...but I can't stomach the losses no matter how close they were. Too painful.
As a matter of fact, after that Rose Bowl game, I immediately taped over it...right after I screamed, cried and punched by bedroom wall in frustration.

Well, you're very welcome. I'm glad the videos helped during the off season for you and everyone else. I plan on putting up many more games (and re-uploading many of the bowl victories).
And I'm praying I will have memorable 2009 games to upload this Fall as well. Here's hoping.

I don't want to blow anything we should keep quiet, but...have you gotten any blowback from YouTube/Google/whoever about licensing or copyright? It would be a crying ass shame to log on one day and have YouTube give me the pink "this video has been removed" banner for every one of your vids.

I've had this account for almost 2 years and had just one video removed. The status of the account is in good standing according to YouTube.
Hopefully it will stay that way. There are thousands and thousands of folks with copyright sports material on YouTube. Not just me. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Were you ever involved with the guy who used to trade game tapes over the Internet in the early 2000's? I got about five tapes from that guy, he had EVERYTHING! Even awesome non-UM games and the 1980 USA-USSR hockey game!

FWIW, I did buy a Michigan game tape from the guy who turned out to be a sex-offender. It creeps me out to think about it. I wish the TV networks would just sell DVDs of games they broadcast, so we don't have to relay on potentially shady middlemen.
