Prospect Gary Hosey, LB/RB who is being recruited by Michigan as a RB is a bruiser. Just had a carry where it took SIX Brother Rice players to take him down.

Pretty good I would say. Definitely the class of his OL. They have let up a couple sacks but they are playing #2 in the state.

Been making some good holes for Keshawn Gilmore and giving Campbell some good time back there while he was passing.

We have a major problem here. There is a huge group of people RUNNING to the north endzone. The players and coaches have been instructed to hit the ground. Play has stopped.

Police are gathering down the steet, hearing rumblings of a shooting from those around me. The game has been resumed though.

A big 20yd run by Cass Tech.

Game has resumed, this is a shaky situation. Now there are apparently cops chasing people around the concourse.

Maybe you didn't here but the game was delayed twice because of problems with crowd behavior (suspected? gun shots) with one time the players and coaches on the field being instructed to lay on the ground. IMHO probably not the best place to be hanging out.

So far today I have watched 2 Michigan games from 2011 (glorious), 2 high school football games on ESPN, and I am intently following this thread of another high school football game. I think I can speak for us all when I say I'm ready for the season to be here already.

Some of the crowd here at Adams Field has made an early exit. Maybe scared off by the altercation.

The score here after 3: #9 Cass Tech 12  #2 Brother Rice 12

Cass Tech will punt after a near INT by Campbell. Not his best night, but first game rust is expected. He is a sophomore, keep in mind.

Snapp's PAT is good and Cass Tech leads 19-12 in the 4th quarter.

Who made the hit? None other than Damon Webb. 2nd forced fumble of the night while Journey runs it in.

Huge pass by BR. Ball on the 5yd line with under 5 minutes left. Cass leads 19-12. 1st and goal.
