High School Football: Derrick Green Playing Live Now

Submitted by jcorqian on

Don't think I've seen this posted, but if so mods please take care of it.

ESPN 3 has a variety of excellent high school games streaming today (as they did last night).  Currently, Derrick Green's team (Hermitage VA) is playing PSU's Chrisitan Hackenberg (Fork Union, VA).  Last night included Joliet Catholic and Good Counsel.

Games are going on through the evening.  I believe some are on ESPN U and ESPN 2 as well.  Good way to get a football fix and follow some potential and former Michigan recruits here before the season starts.

What I dont understand with Auburn is dont these kids realize Gus Malzahn is no longer there? I mean who doesn't remember Chizik without Malzahn on his staff it was ugly.

Even with the talent I think Auburn is in for a downturn without Malzahn there to rack up the points and make games high scoring affairs.

I usually don't like to refer to recruits as a "stud", but that is what Green is....He might be only 17 or 18, but he's a MAN.

Surprisingly balanced offence from Hermitage, lots of passing. You would think with Green they would be a pounding offense but lots of throws and QB runs.

So if Green decides to pick us then that gives us a Thunder and Thunder-er combo of Green and Smith? That would look glorious behind our future Oline.
