OT; Edited; My PC Is Screwed Up. Are You? Thursday Night Drinking Thread.

Submitted by MaizeMN on

I've been looking at the various forum topics and seen little chatter. Is there a problem with the site, my PC, or has everyone passed out from an early Thursday Whatcha Drinkin' Thread?

Or is it this:aquarium-otter-sleeping-large[1]

Edit: Drinking thread, if you will.

I am freaking out more than normal. This is because we kick off in the South against Alabama and Hoke needs to work a miracle. I am seeing too many bad signs that are killing me. Fitz, injuries, and Pedo State U are all downers. MGopsychologists HELP ME!

1) I am drunk. It was "clean the apartment night" by order of the fiancé, and in order to make cleaning bearable, I drank much cheap beer very quickly. So drinking thread is well timed.

2) I'm guessing the "script thread" from yesterday you're referring to is the one where I pointed someone at a userscript I wrote to fix the board paging problem. If you tried the script and are having issues, post a comment on the script page (http://userscripts.org/scripts/discuss/137085) and I'll see if I can get it sorted out. Tomorrow. When I'm sober.

I'm enjoying a bomber of this guy.  Fresh beer makes a difference folks- don't let anyone fool you.  Also: Frasier reruns.

I normally never open the "what are you drinking" threads. But the odd title intrigue me. I don't need to criticize what someone else is or is not drinking, nor how much they are or are not drinking, nor do I need to regularly share what I am drinking at that particular juncture (FTR:  typically a glass of skim milk with a couple graham crackers.)

I really think that the problem is we are all ready for the season, and Fort Hoke has kept real news from getting out there to us. Calm down:  only 9 more days. And, get a life . . . there is more than living vicariously through the exploits of the football team.
