Whatever happened to insider practice reports? NEED THE INFO

Submitted by wolverine1987 on

is it just me, or has this year so far, a week and a half into fall practice, been the least informative ever? It seems like last year we were reading various posts from people who had been in practice, even a couple mentions from Brian about reports his sources had given him.  Granted some of them turn out to be nothing, but I am at the point where I don't even care. Aargh, George is getting upset....

EDIT: I don't mean mainstream media reports, I mean Brian's insider contacts, reports from anonymous personnel that have been in practice, horrible grammar from EROC and those guys, etc. We had those last year even with the Fort back up

...good luck penetrating that shit.

But a short bit I AM hearing from sources....all the DG to WR talk is a diversionary screen...so no one notices ROUNDTREE playing QUARTERBACK.

interview with Chelios.

"Chris, wouldn't you like to play more of a finesse game sometimes?"

"Oh, well sure, I've always thought I can skate well enough for that."

"Why don't you try it?"

"I like to get paid."

I'm paraphrasing, but that was the gist of the conversation. We should find a young and innocent reporter to ask Hoke about playing a WR who wouldn't block.

"Denard is our quarterback. Sometimes he runs. Sometimes he throws. When he runs, he uses his feet. Both of them. And his legs as well. When he throws, he uses his hand, and his arm. But only the right one. He uses his feet when he throws too, hopefully not the back one.

He doesn't tie his shoes. So sometimes when he runs, using his feet, and his legs (both of them) his shoes fall off. Denard is so fast opposing D's give up on catching him, and eat chowder out of his empty shoe."

Doug Karsh said on the radio last week that the freshman are big and look Big Ten ready.

Clark and Fitz were not allowed to wear anything with Michigan logos on it until Thursday last week.

Denard still has his dreads.

And that is about it.
