OT: LSU to hold Noon CST press conference

Submitted by dayooper63 on

There is likely to be a significant announcement concerning the LSU football team at noon today.

I wonder what it could be.

Instead of doing it individually they're just going to tell a bunch of freshman at once that they're being greyshirted and have to move out of their dorms immediately. It's just easier that way.

The only big-name player I can really name off LSU's roster is Mathieu and this type of emergency-panic press conference would seem to indicate maybe he's been dismissed. I don't know what other LSU player would justify this sort of hooplah for a dismissal

Sometimes when I visit OSU or MSU message boards, I get the sense that they're in a decade-long war to see who can assemble the biggest online army of delusional, obsessive dumb-asses.  Based on what I'm seeing on Tiger Droppings now (namely, all of those guys posting their personal email addresses), OSU and MSU might have a real challenge from the South.

The link provided the OP mentioned that Miles stopped practice a few days earlier than originally planned and provided no explanation.  This could be interesting.

On the other had, ESPN does have Honey Badger on the front of the NCAAF page in a positive story.  So Honey Badger probable dismissed from the team.  But it will take ESPN a solid hour to change the headlining story.

Ehh I don't know about a dismissal/suspension.  I'm thinking they're going to announce that Mo Isom (female kicker) has officially made the team.  Just seems like something they'd want to create all the hoopla for.

He's not even the best CB on that team, no way in hell is he drafted that high. He has a nose for the ball and good return skills, add a nickname the media loves and you have a ultra-hyped player. But tbh his coverage skills we're a bit lacking, and as you said he's very short. I doubt he gets picked in the first few rounds when the time comes.
