I'm ashamed to say this, but I literally thought they had a kid black out for 4 months. I was super confused before I clicked, now I'm ashamed I just admitted that.

and the guy asked me if I wanted a reciept for the doughnut. I was like, "Man, this is a simple transaction. I give you the money, you give me the doughnut. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this." I tried to imagine a situation where I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. Some skeptical friend, "Man, don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut. I've got the proof right here."

I know he was going to be a true freshman, but did he factor into getting major playing time?

Although he was a highly rated recruit, he is still pretty far down on the depth chart, competing with Norwood and Cooper for the number 5 or 6 slot behind Bell, White, Jones, and Shinn. Bell, Shinn, and Norwood are taller receivers, probably playing the flanks, while the others are slot-type receivers. He was expected to be in the mix for some playing time but they shouldn't be a bad unit without him, especially early on as he gets acclimated to college football (he is a true freshman).
