BWC will be one of the best defensive lineman in the conference by the end of the season and will be drafted no later than the third round. He's gonna be a beast this year!
Thanks for the definitive prophecy.
No problem lol
We all know it isnt real until THE PARTY ROOM decrees it so!

BKFinest it!?
Need a big year from The Otter!
Bill Will we need a HUGE year out of you!!! Stay low and keep your pad level and you will be a force...
Will sounds all grown up...I can't wait to see him on the field. He has a chance to be more than solid, it may take a few games, but come B1G season I look for him to be an anchor in the middle.
If BWC has a good to great year, I wonder if he gets drafted in the NFL in the first 3 rounds?
If he wants to go in the first 3 rounds, his best shot working towards that is by having a strong game against Bama. You know all the scouts will be there.
I wouldn't be shocked if he was a 2nd round pick or didn't even get a sniff as a free agent. If I recall, he was proud of hitting something like 370 on the bench over the winter? So he seems to have a lot of room to get much stronger, while continuing to shed/keep off the bad weight. I can picture him as a 315 pound, 500 lb. bench physical freak, which may allow him to live up to lofty projections for him coming out of high school.
It is amazing to think that this should only be his rs. jr year, still backing up a rs. senior martin. oh the possibilites.
I know 370 is a lot more than I could ever put up, but looking at Campbell, he should be able to put up more than that. I hope you're right, though. I want to see him reach Trent Richardson levels of strength, where they just tell him he can't put any more weight on the bars.
If BWC turns in the performance that I think he's ready to turn in this year, well, I'm sure glad he was: (1) not redshirted in 2009; and (2) flipped to the OL in the second half of 2010.

Will Campbell really does sound like he has grown much under this staff and he seems to realize that this is his shot to be that standout on the defensive line that he was recruited to be. He sounds like he has dedicated himself to being the best he can be, right down to hosting film sessions, as has been noted elsewhere on this site. Can't wait to see him out there.
I must admit, I did like his answer to the question regarding the fact that he has Jerry Montgomery, Greg Mattison and Brady Hoke watching him - "You do something right to one person, you did two things wrong to the other two". There has to be at least a small advantage in having your current defensive line coach plus two former DL coaches right there.
Just make sure you get your TPS reports in Will
Besta luck!
It is such a shame that BWC didn't have this set of coaches from the gitgo.
It really seems that BWC has grown up a lot. I don't have any real knowledge of what he was like before but he was reportedly kinda lazy and immature, I don't seen or here any of that this year. I am pretty optimistic about him this year, hopefully we will see much more of him running over centers. Good interview.

Proof will be on the field, of course, but I can't think of a way that interview could be more convincing. He seems like a man now.

Come one BWC we need you. I expect some big things from him this year. He seems to have the drive that he was lacking previously.

Anyone else get a Shaq-vibe from BWC in that interview?
I really am hopeful he pulls it all together and has a strong year. Sounds like he worked hard all summer, let's hope it translates to the field.
I want to see BWC succeed this year, if only for his own self-esteem. Although Heiki yesterday mentioned something about academics, I hope that does not slow BWC down.
BWC certainly seems to be performing much better under Hoke, Mattison, et al.
Is now worthy of his hammer.
BOOM! CRASH! BANG!
Sounds like he has the right attitude. He definitely has the frame and high ceiling to be a great dlineman if he just focuses on his technique and has the motor to keep going. It's all up to him, best of luck!
