Winged Helmet hi-res image?
Does anyone know if there's a hi-res image out there on the intertubes of the side-view winged helmet image?
I know the athletic dept used it on some things a few years ago (including the student season shirt), but I need a rather large version of it so I can make a stencil. See, I'm painting my new cornhole boards for the start of the season and I'd love to slap that logo on the middle of the boards.
If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

Beanbag toss?
It's a tailgating game, kind of like horseshoes.

Now Im ready for any trivia game out there.

Here's what a plan board set looks like

You have to be a bean bag sniper to score a hit in those holes. I can't imagine after whacking down a six pack or two during some tailgating would increase your accuracy. Thanks for the info.

Like said before, similar to horseshoes, don't 'have to get a ringer' (i.e. in the hole). In hole gets 3 pts, on the board gets 1 pt. The finished boards are usually laquered heavily so they're slippery. There's a definite "form" that can be developed to land/slide the bag up and into the hole (especially if opponent leaves a bag just left or right - you can use it like a back board to 'bank' yours in)

It's not as hard as it looks. And similar to bowling it gets easier the more you drink until you hit that point where you're retarded and your accuracy goes downhill pretty quickly.

What do you get for landing your bag in some hot young co-ed cleavage?

Slapped?

What do you mean by "bag"?

that when you google it, the first page is totally PG.

I'm sure you've seen it at tailgates before.

Might want to try and blow up the relevant section.

the University is pretty tight on logos and licensing, so you might have a hard time finding anything better.

Does anyone have a size M season shirt from '06 that they want to donate/sell? I really liked that year's design.

I didn't know Medium shirts actually fit anyone older than 14.

With all the fat people walking the streets these days I can see how you might think that.
August 19th, 2009 at 12:36 AM ^
Just because your fat, doesn't mean your tough.

and got several negs. That's alright, I'll probably live. I must dispute the fat claim though. I'm actually pretty thin at 6'0", 185 lbs. Still, I have to wear either large or extra-large.
Note: I'm only disputing the fat claim -- I'll agree that I'm a weakling -- and I'll resist the urge to type out silly internet threats to make me "look" tough. (If I ever see you in person, I'll *&#*@ you up!)

We're pretty much the same in terms of raw numbers (I'm 6-1, 180) but I find that it's usually medium or large for t-shirts (depending on the brand, etc.).
Anything long sleeve is large otherwise the arms are way too short.

6'2 180 and I don't wear a large shirt...I don't like swimming in my shirts. it should come mid-bicep kthx.

... yeah okay

Here is a pretty good image, although the helmet isn't in profile; it's turned a bit.

Hopefully you can blow up those and possibly use them as stencils. It will probably take longer, but I think it's worth it because the helmets look better at that angle than in profile anyway.

I've got a file of an outline I made from a photo of the sideview. You can adjust the size of the logo to as big as you need/want. It's on my other computer, so I'll upload it later. Here's an example of it in use:

But I kind of like the number on the side look from the helmuthut website... I'm not suggesting we pair it with maize jerseys and a Megadeath inspired smoke filled entrance at a night game, but wouldn't these look cool in a "throwback" game against Wisconsin or Michigan State?

depends on what you're looking for but:

I'd like a fathead, but can't justify $90 for a giant static cling thingy.
Though I have spent money on dumber stuff.

I am in the process of making my own cornhole set and wanted to make it with the winged helmet as well. I wanted it to look like you were looking head-on at the helmet. Here is a freehand drawing I did of it. I will probably make the outer lines curved so they look like they'd meet at a point at the back.

Let me know what you think. I drew this quickly in paint while at work.
