Yeah, I'm getting pretty sick of all these football players being one-and-done type players.  None of the good ones are staying 3-4 years anymore.  They should implement a rule where an athlete must be out of high school for 3 years before being able to play in the NFL...

D Green wore a maize and blue colored adidas tank top for his Alabama visit.  Just saying.

After striking out the last several years on elite backs I  would love to land Green. Except I just don't see him committing this weekend. There's good evidence of something possibly brewing. But him only having been here once before, without talking to Coach Hoke, I don't see how he could have enough confidence in Michigan to pull the trigger. But I'd love nothing better for someone to end up telling me this weekend, 'I told you so'.

That's the thing that is promising in my opinion. He's only been here once and never spoke to Coach Hoke in person and still has us that high on his list. I know he has said in a couple different articles how excited he is to be able to talk to Hoke in person. These factors all coming together could seal the deal theoretically this weekend. Here's to hoping!

You are a great contributor to the site.  Your presence ensures that I can leave the site for 3 weeks, come back and read three of your comments, and I will be all caught up with what happened on the board.  Sure its always trite and never unique, creative, or insightful; But summarization and reiteration does have value.

As a few of you have said, tempering expectations with Green is the best move. I've followed his recruitment for over a year an he never fails to rave about schools to their fan blogs. At various points Bama, UM, OSU, Clemson, Oklahoma, Auburn, Va Tech and I think one or two more have been believed to be leaders. I'm not saying you guys won't get him, but he's playing the recruiting game more than almost anyone this year. Also, I can't be 100% positive, but some of his comments are that of a mad teenager who's childhood favorite school just told him they are going in a different direction.

Didn't see it mentioned, so I figured I'd note that Anzalone evidently went down to Florida for their Friday Night Lights camp (this is the one that was the subject of much discussion re: Dawson). Maybe it's nothing, but could be a real problem for ND.

Just needed something to do until Gridiron Kings started Today. In a interview he even said the UF coaches aren't really recruiting him they just said if you reconsider call us. He then reiterated he is 100% committed to Notre Dame. Nothing to worry about. PSU actually came in 2nd.

Bisphenol A - A polymer found in plastics that some think may leak hormone like substances into food stored within it leading the FDA to ban it's use in baby bottles and encourage food manufactures to not use it in it's packaging.

Either that or it's Best Player Available.

I haven't stopped hitting f5 since Dawson put us on commit watch 2 weeks ago. Unless Dawson is clairvoyant and knew the PSU situation, I still don't think I'm wasting my time.

We lose what... 2 kids every year between a verbal and signing day due to various reasons (e.g., family, girlfriend, whatever).  That is roughly 10% of the class.

You are essentially saying that 10% risk is too damn high and you will only care on signing day.  That is idiotic.
