Elite 11: Day 1 *UPDATE
Elite 11 started today and they are doing the SPARQ test stuff first. Here's some relevent tweets about shane who has done well in the suttle (2nd) and the power ball toss (tie for 1st).
Top power ball tosses from @Elite11 testing - Shane Morris & Johnny Stanton at 39'. #Elite11 #GoBlue #Huskers
Other top shuttle times - Shane Morris (4.25), Zach Greenlee (4.28), Zach Allen (4.28), DeVante Kincade (4.30) #Elite11
***UPDATE:
It's a limited session at #elite11, but my Top 2 today were Max Browne and Shane Morris #fighton #goblue
LOL moment, local HS WRs struggling with velocity of some passes. One just caught Shane Morris- "owww sh@@++@("
These are from @brianstumpfespn tweets and the overall estimate is only a ranking average of the top five. The "overall estimate" would not necessarily reflect the overall performers (eg that might be ranked 6 in every category).

Wow....surprised Hackenberg didn't crack the top in anything. Keep reading he is a great athlete and like someone said earlier the lack of Dual Threat guys is a surprise.
Or JT Barrett. He's supposed to be one of the top DT QBs, but hasn't showed up at all yet.
Any Buckeye fan who says JT has better arm strength than Shane is drinking the koolaid. Shane has a cannon. That's like someone saying Shane is a better runner than JT. They haven't watched the film.
247, ESPN, and Scout all mentioned him as someone who performed well:

247 - ***Elite 11 First Practice (eye catchers) -
This first deal was just a practice, so we did not do top performers in terms of ranking them, but these eight caught our eye. Max Browne (USC commit) JT Barrett (Ohio State commit) Austin Allen (Arkansas commit, won accuracy challenge) Troy Williams (Washington commit) Kevin Olsen (Miami commit) Shane Morris (Michigan commit) Brice Ramsey (Georgia commit) Danny Etling (Purdue commit) |

Bryan Fischer@BryanDFischer Thought Ohio State commit JT Barrett threw the ball very well today, really surprised at how well built he is. |
Where's the second coming, aka Matt Barkley??
Another Shane Morris rollout, another "f-bomb" from the 150 pound receiver who was trying to catch it. #elite11
While initially amusing, this is kind of annoying. Couldn't they come up with some way to get some quality WRs to come to this gig? Hopefullly they are only judging the QBs' accuracy on whether or not they got the ball to the target and not on actual receptions, o/w the hard throwers will be at a disadvantage.
I don't think so. In the video I watched of earlier Elite11s, there were a few reps where the pass was on but the WR dropped it, and Dilfer still congratulated the quarterback on a good throw.
So...NyanHoke.
Bonus video!
To be fair...the catch is the metric qbs are measured by...Like Ryan Mallett, half of the battle will be putting just the right amount of velocity on the ball in order to get it there before the defense while being as soft as possible to aid in the catch.
Shane Morris, Danny Etling and Malik Zaire among QBs MT @TomLuginbill Best first day start to the #elite11 I have seen since the 2006 class.
