Logan Tuley-Tillman named to IFAF U19 World Championship All-Tournament Team
Logan Tuley-Tillman may have had a disappointing team finish as Team USA lost the IFAF U19 World Championship Gold Medal game to Canada yesterday, but he was recognized today on the All-World Championship Team.
He was one of the few (maybe the only) player to turn down an invite to the Opening to play for Team USA instead. I'm happy he was recognized for having an outstanding tournament even if he didn't come away with gold like he had probably hoped.

How does the United States of America not win the gold medal in a football tournament?? Baseball I can understand. Even basketball on occasion. But football???
And when did they start playing football in France and Sweden? This entire tournament is mind-boggling to me.
In case you haven't been on the board lately - the top high school football players in our country were all together this weekend, and it wasn't playing in the U-19 World Championships. Think about how that game would have gone with Shane and Max Browne throwing to Treadwell, RSJ and so on. It would have been far different I'm sure.
They lost to a U19 World All-Star team in a one game bowl exhibition, and I actually think that loss may have been more embarrassing.
I think the International Bowl happens every year. The IFAF U19 World Championship is going to happen every 4 years (this was the second one after inaugural one in 2009).
I put a longer post about this in the Gold Medal game thread but 2 things leveled the playing field for Canada.
1. USA had to use rising HS seniors instead incoming college freshmen (USA was probably 1-2 years younger on average).
2. USA's starting QB left the team for family reasons a couple days before the tournament started.
That being said, I still think they should have been able to pull out a win.

Something of note... Logan played Left Tackle for a Team USA that featured LSU Commit and Super-Recruit Ethan Pocic....
I know some people were down on him for camp performances, but it looks like he really had a great week with the pads on...
Sometimes people forget that camps do not necessarily translate to the field, so its great to see LTT tear it up and gain some recognition over some other well-known players
Congratulations to him on his achievement. As a few posters have mentioned above, he appeared (*to me, at least*) to be in a bit better form than we have seen the past few months. I thought he did a better job with his footwork and was better able to keep his feet underneath him as he moved.
Looks like there's an adult tournament, too, and Japan won the first two times...
Good to hear an update on the kid from "Peroia" from time to time.
If Logan does indeed come to Michigan, he will become the first ever Wolverine to compete in international competition.
Did Tim Biakabatuka or Alain Kashama play vs. any US competition when they were in HS in Canada?
