not really sure the exact rules about premium content... but lets just say that those with WolverineNation access over at ESPN can read some TomVH thoughts on this... he's had a chance to speak with Laquon about his tweets...i think its ok to comment that the tweets are definitely not about a honey nut vs regular cheerios decision.

That's good.

Because you really can't lose with Honey Nut or regular Cheerios.  I'm an avid Cheerio-er, and I usually buy both types (none of those new-fangled flavors, though) and alternate every other box.  They're both so good, and by the time I've finished one box, I'm excited for the other.  I get more value out of the regular version though, since they're more often available in the big family size boxes.  And recently they've come with a children's book inside, so that's a plus.

he does commit.

He's been infatuated with M for a year now.  No one has really touched M in his mind in that time.  I can't blame the kid for wanting to go out and see other campuses.  But, I think the kid is blue inside and out.

Steve Wiltfong said, "Just to throw it out there, but I wouldn't be surprised if Laquon Treadwell announces this weekend at The Opening. Not saying it will or it's set in stone. Just something to keep an eye on as we discuss the latest developments."

One can hope right? Go Blue!

Personally I think this kid is milking the recruiting process for all it's worth. I do think he loves UM and has it as the school to beat right now, but he's letting these other schools stroke his ego right now. Cant say I blame him. If I was a top recruit I may do that too.

But if I really did love UM, I'd commit to save my spot before someone, aka Alvin Bailey, takes it for me.

The big question I have, is why can't we seem to pull in big time guys at a skill position of such need like wide reciever.  Don't get me wrong, I like the recievers we have recieved commits from, but I would think, with Shane and the coaches, big time 4 or 5 star guys would be salivating to come here.  Also, how in the world can ND always have great recruiting classes when they completely suck year in and year out.  Why would any top notch athlete want to go there?

Notre Dame has a stud THROWING quarterback recruit every year.  Michigan has had Nick Sheridan, Steve Threet, Tate Forcier, and Denard Robinson for the past four years.  These kids haven't seen Michigan have a legitimate passer and receiver since they were in about 7th grade.

Shane Morris is a step in the right direction, but Hemingway's 34 receptions and Gallon's 31 aren't very convincing for guys who can go to Oklahoma or Oklahoma State or USC...

Logic says you're right. And Treadwell would be proof positive. But it can't be emphasized enough: teenage kids don't tend to take the long view. Right now, when many WR prospects think of Michigan, they first think of Denard-ball. But once kids start seeing M throw the ball more -- either via Gardner or Shane -- then the program will go back to being WRU.

I encourage anyone to go to rivals site, go to Treadwells profile, and look at his pics from mid/late 2011, and look at the recent one posted i beleive today.

Treadwell got ridiculously RIPPED/HUGE in 9 months.  Incredible.  Don't know if anyone noticed this.

I'll take an actual on-topic quote over a cryptic tweet any day.  And considering that this entire thread was devoted to interpreting that tweet which Sarah just de-mystified with a brief conversation (that she provided for free, unlike the recruiting sites), I'd say nice work Sarah.
