Either way, we're probably in a position to be less picky with DT's right now given our depth than OSU. Hurst seems great and like a solid pickup but isn't going to be an immediate impact in the way that Pipkins hopefully will be. He looks like a powerful, athletic DT that will help us build more depth on the line and could be an impact player if he bulks up and works hard. Just watching his highlights, he looks really fast which seems like a great attribute to build on.
calm down. There were legit reports about Hurst not having a commitable offer. Just because OSU was full at his position doesn't mean they're all lying now. Not saying that it is legit everytime they say this, because they do say it for a lot of guys. But this makes us sound petty, just like when MSU mocked us for saying the same things about Shane Jones, Se'Von Pittman, etc..(which were true)
Anyone else a little peeved that there is no Hello post? Tim always had them up within 3 minutes (it seemed) -- I could see the delay if the commitment came out of the blue, but c'mon, Hurst was a given to commit this weekend.

I've long been annoyed at *these* types of MGoBoard postings. Wouldn't it be easier to just wait for Ace's post? Then, all the comments could be in one spot.
I don't mind so much if someone else posts something. It's going to be hard to prevent, and obviously it's a lot quicker to write a sentence or two and throw in a link (or not, as the case may be) than to come up with paragraphs of quotes and analysis. But I would like to see the "Hello:" title reserved for Ace's posts. That way there is a clear distinction between the two. It will also help when searching the archives to make it easier to find Ace's posts.

I really, really, really like this pickup. I think Hurst and Willie Henry are 2 underrated kids who will do very well here (although Hurst really is not underrated). He will end up 4* on every service except one, since Farrell has already written him off as no chance for a 4th.....
