And even if it is...I've seen and had to deal with guys.....well..you just really don't want to live without a face.  That's not even dark humor. It's as horrible as you'd imagine.

The thing I'm still trying to figure out is how were they BOTH naked?

As a future doctor, I am going to diagnose this as Excited Delirium (Syndrome) (Future Doctor = a joke  haha lol lulz HALOL.  I am not near being a doctor but am in the field and will be one one day).  How crazy though.  To be shot and continue to gnaw at another human's flesh.  I know this is easily a story to poke fun at, I've done it a bit, but this really is scary.  I sure as hell don't want to come across somebody who has literally lost control of their mind and body.  BTW, if this really is an ED(S) case, in my humble opinion he most likely would have died anyway.

How in thee hell is this flamebait?!  Good Lord some of you suck.

"Officials also believe that Eugene carried out the grisly attack after he was high on LSD. Officials say he portrays symptoms of "excited delirium" - a syndrome that turns drug users into raging "incredible Hulks". "I'm going by similarities in other cases of excited delirium I've researched in the last couple of days," said Aguilar, president for the Fraternal Order of Police."

That statement at the bottom of the article, from this link:

I stopped and paused right before clicking on it. I thought to myself that this is one of those "where were you when you first learned of the Zombie Apocalypse" moments. Oh well. I'm sure if/when the Zombies take over, MGoBlog will come through.

if he really was a zombie (I've watched too many movies to ignore that possibility), at least the police didn't get too close.  It always spreads when an innocent bystander trys to restrain the zombie.

In all seriousness, eff PCP, why would anyone use it? One hit can ruin your life.

I've refused to click. Just reading the title "Police shoot naked man eating someone's face" was way, way too much for me. And now someone posts it here at mgoblog, a sanctuary from such lunacy.

The "alleged" photos of the guys face are pretty bad.  Definately not something you want your kids to see.  It is wise not to go hunting for things that will disturb your dreams.

I was in the back yard with my son this past weekend and we were chopping out the stump of an old rose bush with an axe and a pick-axe.  Not the most elegant way  to go about it, but effective.  Anyway, the axe I was using was my father's and the head started to losen and began the process of sliding off the shaft.  We remediated it with some shims and once we were done I had him hold it.  I then said, "You know, you could just stand up with that axe, take one swing, and kill me."  He nervously sat the axe down and I said, "and that, my son, is why you keep weapons away from the criminally insane, they can be one impulse away from ending your life."   I know its dramatic, but  he was asking about the face eating zombie and I tried to explain how much trust you have to have in complete strangers every day, the social contract, etc and when people aren't bound by those conventions, you have extremely dangerous conditions.

I started to post it and then I stopped. It was the most disturbing story I have ever seen. The first version I read said that they were naked and that it was in South Beach, and my thought was that humanity had reached a moral lowpoint. The next version said that they were homeless, and my reaction shifted to a guilt feeling about that level of desperation surrounded by luxurious wealth. Finally, it was somewhat of a relief to me to learn that it was a drug reaction which has apparently been observed several times already. Sounds like a good drug to lay off.

I question anything that leads off with a Huffington Post citation. I read that site and original journalism isn't a strong point.

My anti-zombie oasis/fortress/lightly stocked laundry room is already full.

(Maybe just enough room to squeeze in a medium-sized undulating supermodel.)

I clicked thinking it would be a funny OT thread and find out this is f-ing real!!  WTF is this world coming to?  First zombie attacks, then our pets heads starting falling off?  That's when the whores come in.  Men laying their trick-money down.  Dollars to pay the rent?  Maybe instead i'll spend it on the whore.

"Our pets heads are falling off!"  Just trying to justify smiles in a thread like this one - a seemingly funny at first glance but frightening real once you investigate further.  My mind failed to calculate the reality of the situation.

I grew up in DC in the ghetto in the 80's where PCP aka Love Boat was a very popular drug sadly stuff like this happened all the time they also called it Buck Nekkid because the user would always strip their clothes off and act crazy.  There was an incident when I was a kid where an officer shot a suspect's whole chest out with a close range shotgun blast and the suspect still managed to fire a handgun and kill another officer and a pedestrian with basically no torso to speak of.  It's nasty stuff but nothing new.

I find it hard to see this as being LSD as well.  I'm hearing bath salts too, but these all seem like red herrings to me (designed to throw us off the ZOMBIE APOCOLYPSE trail).  There was one website saying bath salts is a "street version of LSD."  I don't know about you guys, but how often have you recieved clinical doses of LSD?  Yeah, unless  you were around for the experiements in the 50's and 60's its doubtful that anything but street LSD is available.  I also seriously doubt the chemical structure is remotely similar.  Just terrible terrible misinformation.  There's a good link about bath salts here and it states it is more similar to cat.

Until there is an autopsy / toxicology information that is released to the public its all just W.R. Hearst style fearmongering.

It seems there are a lot more inscrupulous chemists around these days.  I blame the Russians.  I read Pihkal in the early 90's and that really opened my eyes to the number of compounds that are highly psychoactive.  Its insane.  There's no real way to stay ahead of it, legislatively, because they (the bad chemists) can just go to a different compound with a completely different structure as long as it maintains some level of  stability and is manufacturable on a commercial scale.
