2012 Michigan Football Jersey Question
Maybe
I hope not.
It just makes the uniforms look too busy.
Plus I'm not a fan of overzealous patriotism that feels the need to plaster the flag all over everything.
You mean to tell me the Red, White, and Blue Eagle tattoo I got on my back isn't the best way to show that I love my country. Damnit.

Its a lower back tat classy and patriotic .
...is saddened by your comments.
any day.
We have so much on our uniforms. Are you high?
I'd say Dave Brandon has got a lot of negativity on his plate right now, I highly doubt he's even thought about that.
There is no money to be made off of it, do Brandon won't consider it.
You don't think he has a patch contract do you?
I could see it for the Air Force game, seeing as they are a service academy and it is the weekend before 9/11. Other than that I don't see it happening. This is based off of my opinion and not any real facts, of course.
Not a fan of it myself, but I would rather put the flag on our uni's for the Air Force game.
EDIT: Beaten to the punch by ForeverBlue. Curses.
why we don't always have the flag on the jerseys. The class move would be to keep it there full time.
The flags were added for the nebraska game where there was some other military appreciation stuff happening (special flyover and the cards used to make the flag in the south half of the stadium). I think they were then just left on for the last home game.
This is something that doesn't bother me at all. It looks classy and sends a good message. Don't make the entire jersey red, white, and blue, but to me how they did it looks very cool
There are a lot of things we could put on the jerseys that would make a good statement, but you can't just put them all on there and leave them there. Otherwise in a few years we'd have a flag on one shoulder, a pink ribbon on another, a Mott patch on one butt cheek, and patches up and down the back for every player that's ever worn the number.
While I could have done without the changes to the facemask & Sugar Bowl Jerseys and definitely the alternates worn against MSU, my two cents is that I liked most everything else done last year that pertains to the uniforms. I loved the UTL jerseys, although I hope that was a one time deal and the Ath. Dept. does not try to bring them back for subsequent future NIGHT games. As far as the numbers on the helmets and the US Flag patch on the jerseys, I hope that both of them are hear to stay.
I believe we did it for the Nebraska game...I want to say it was the military appreciate game or something.
We just left the flag on the jerseys for the Ohio game because they were present the week before.
At least that is my recollection...
I think if we just have the new mascot wear a flag patch on his costume or run around waaving a flag, then we should be covered in that department
No thanks. KISS principal.
can wear eyeblack with MV and #7 written on them, too.
Well since those were two of the best games of the year, I hope so. Plus I like the way they look. I can't find a picture from last year, but here's Larry Foote with one on his jersey.
LUTHA!
Wait a minute, wait a minute....I've GOT it. If we just take the whole "additional patch" idea thing and expand it a bit we just might have a way to raise enough money to satisfy DB once and for all.
Now picture him with a winged helmet on.......
"satisfy DB once and for all"
HAHA. Irony.
We're not the military or a political candidate, we're representing Ann Arbor and the State of Michigan. We're all good patriots here, so we don't need to tell anybody we love the US.
If anything, how badass would a onetime State of Michigan patch be - say at the Ohio game??
The state flag is actually mostly shades of maize and blue anyway...
the rustling of the jimmies of the MSU fans.
When is the adidas contract up again?
Actually whenever somebody complains about it, another year is tacked on to the contract

Never.
If they do they might charge an extra $5.
Who is Ohio state? Never heard of the.
