Guh, another head to head recruiting loss to MSU. When will it end? And don't give me any of that "It's because MSU is desperate enough to spend a scholarship on a long snapper" bullshit, we all know it's because Dantonio is a master recruiter.

I think Dantonio has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ann Arbor are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Taking Michigan’s longsnappers is a good start.

Everybody wins here.  Pepper gets a scholly.  Dantonio gets someone who will stay out of jail.  Most of all, we get to remind Sparty that they are giving schollies to Michigan's walk-ons on October 21 when they wake up with hangovers, burned couches, and the realization that they haven't really caught up with Michigan, after all.

Good for Taybor.  Bad for MSU, who is spending a scholarship on a guy no one else would.  Spending a scholarship on a long snapper period isn't a great move.

But it's not like MSU was using those scholarships on anyone good anyway, hehe.

Dantonio the Master Trickster is working him into a fake-field-goal-tip-it-to-the-long-snapper-for-a-first-down play, trying to rip that page out of Hoke's Sugar Bowl playbook.

The play will be called "The Sandlot," and it will be run to beat Nebraska.

In all seriousness, best of luck and congratulations, even if it is with Sparty!

Glad for Taybor.  Get's a Big 10 full ride.  If Michigan would have offered he'd still be Blue, but Sparty is a decent fall back.

Even if it is at the hands of Michigan State, he is going to get something he wouldn't get here - a paid education - and especially nowadays, sports scholarship at stake or not, many kids would be hard-pressed NOT to take such an offer, especially if, in his case, it's not typically a scholarship position nor one that gets much attention generally.

Good luck to you, Taybor.

We all love Michigan and what it can offer, but a paid education elsewhere is a big deal, in-state rival or not. This is a great opportunity for him; even if MSU can provide some truly LOL moments.

Accepting a scholarship is a world apart from sitting here on the computer. The girlfriend camped at Ohio for softball and wanted an offer (before she went, by the way) but she cheered as hard as anyone here when Denard took a knee against them. He's doing what's best for him and I'm glad a long snapper got a scholarship, though I hope he loses a lot of games.
