OT- New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson Purchases the Hornets franchise from NBA

The Hornets seem to have experienced an unlucky history  in New Orleans between a lack  of stability in ownership and, of course, a natural disaster that caused their temporary but lengthy relocation. Hopefully, connecting them to a local institution like the Saints through a common owner gets them stable management and allows them to actually become a successful, viable franchise in the city.

At the very least,  they've already put in place a solid marketing effort that finally in fact attracted a buyer, so the will to succeed is definitely there. They are definitely in a better position  to rebuild in earnest now.
