Tickets On Sale for M/WVU in Brooklyn (per si_daddy)
User si_daddy (who does not have enough points to make an OP) posted this link in the "Trey Burke is Back!" thread, but posted it down far enough that I don't think many people got the chance to take a look. Looks like anyone in the area or willing to make the trip owes him a bit of a posbang if this is news to you. si_daddy, if you're reading this, post and get your +1's.
Since it wasn't me who found this originally, I'll use the "I searched but found nothing" disclaimer. Apologies all around if it's been posted, but I searched and didn't see it.

Thanks for the shout out. Glad I could contribute something. I have to say I'm pretty excited about the game. I've been watching the arena progress since it was just a gaping hole in the ground (and it stayed that way for quite a while). I"m not even sure I realized the tickets are for a double-header. I think the other game is Fordham and somebody, not that it matters. My seats are in the floor section in one of the corners (basically just outside the real expensive ones). I live just a 15-min walk away, so don't even have to take the subway, which, BTW, I would avoid at all costs since I can't imagine what it would be like going to a game. It's a zoo on those lines even when nothing special is going on. Hope to see lots of UM fans there!
so there's a classy crowd that'll be riding the train too. Yes, trains on game nights may be crowded, but that's part of the fun.
I don't really get the point of playing in New York, and I don't think WVU is a very high profile team, but the story of Beilein facing his old team will be pretty awesome. I wonder how many people will travel to the game, especially with the number of Wolverines that live in NYC.

point = $$$
It makes as much sense playing in NYC as any other location that isn't Ann Arbor or Morgantown. Like you said, there are tons of alumni in the city and I'd be willing to bet the Michigan presence overshadows the rest.

They're playing in Brooklyn so I can go to a game I can literally walk to!!! Yes! Just got tix - midcourt, 2 rows behind the floor seats. Wow, thanks OP/si/Alpha. Pumped!
Section 24, row 2!!
Looking forward to seeing the team in person.
$175 a pop for mid-level seating? Yeah, I think I'll just wait until those are selling for $50 in November, but thanks Barclay's Center.
