Hoke and Brandy walking and talking looked real casual/comfortbale at the beginning.
Hoke looked a little uncomfortable to me but he is after all used to walking on water.
That’s because Brandstatter was doing his absolute best to crowd Hoke out of the frame.
except that one.
If I could, I would downvote you all your points... may God have mercy on your soul.
/s (but not really!)
I think it's just the fact that he's made a bunch of statements over the years and carried himself in such a way that he represents a type of fan I don't want to be. He gets more leeway because he played on the team, and I don't hate him or anything, I'm just not a huge fan.
I have a feeling that Hoke is careful around him as well. There's something about Hoke's body language and responses (sometimes borderline patronizing) during these interviews that gives me the impression that Hoke's not too receptive to Brandy.
They kept going and it just looked weird. Very distracting.
The spiral point from Mattison at 0:53 and the traditional point from Hoke at 0:58 are both pretty epic
I now expect this comment on any thread with a spring practice video.
Failure to mention gray facemasks and helmet numbers noted.
You forgot to say rabble rabble rabble.
Bubble screen sighting @8:50
Yum. Give me MOAR.
The Legends Division is ours for the taking. I'll be disappointed with anything less than than a B1G Championship next year.
There were more defensive highlights here than on either of the previous two spring practice videos, which pleases me. I think it's already obvious that Denard is going to continue to improve and that Toussaint may be turning into a legitimate star. What I needed to know is how are the lines and the LB's and secondary shaping up. They look good.
edit: watching this makes me realize what is going to happen to the Big Ten this year. in a handy info-graphic for your ease of understanding.
Coach Hoke gave Q the "No Mo Pincher Bug!" lecture at 10:25... and for a good reason. The way that Q hit that bag/blocker/ flayling away from his sides like a pincher bug... he will never generate his potential power that way. Coach Hoke showed him to keep his arms in and push up, use the power Q.
I thought recently that Brady may have lost a few pounds....and this video sort of confirms it, but then again he is next to Brandstatter so its hard to say for sure.
I'll always respect Brandy because he came from an MSU family and crossed over to the good guys.
A lot of talk this spring about Justice Hayes turning heads with his speed, yet I can't recall a single freakin' clip of him in any of the videos. Did I just miss it? Need MOAR Hayes clips, or at least ONE.
Hayes was tackled for a loss by Cam Gordon around the 11:15 mark.
I don't know what it is about the way Coach Hoke approaches his profession, but damn that man is TREMENDOUS at being awesome!
