2012 Football t-shirt design
I don't think I like it very much. No schedule on the back either.

I'm digging the Team 133, and the overall design is pretty cool, but I'm just way too OCD to wear a tilted font shirt like that.

Solution: Wear a 6"platform shoe on your right foot and all will be well.
That'd fix the front, but 'twould only exacerbate the back. I recommend Inspector Gadget shoes.
I like it much more than last year's.

I loved last years. TTB and THIS IS MICHIGAN. I am not in love with this one, but I'll get it anyway.
Its ok, but I generally preferred the simpler designs.

Yeah, I'd like to see better fabric and a lot less print.

A simple Michigan on the front with 133 on the back, that is all.
I like it. It'll get really annoying when people stop you to read your shirt and they have to tilt their head though
What? Tilt your head? Because eyes can only read on horizontal lines??
I'm glad they put the accomplishments on the back instead of the schedule like the past few seasons -- that was so generic and boring.
Overall I kinda like it.
When I wear this in the future, I'd like to remind myself about who we played. Just a personal preference.
Is it really that hard to remember what games were in what year? I mean, are you really going to need to refer back to the 2011 t-shirt to remember than the Under the Lights game was that year?
When we had the schedule on the back, it made the shirt just like any other school's. With the accomplishments, it sets us apart. No one else can list all those things together.
You don't need it for UTL, but 10 years from now we might not remember who was home or away, and which OOC games we played. And not everyone always remembers stuff that specifically. 10 years from now you could point to it and say, "Remember that game? That was the under the lights ND game!"
As for the accomplishments, no one else can list them, but because we can, we don't have to. If I need to tell someone we have the largest stadium, they aren't going to appreciate it anyway.
Every school lists their home schedule on the home t-shirt. Sparty does it. MAC schools do it. We should do something that is unique to us. This shows that this is actually a design specific to us and not just an "Adidas school t-shirt template" with our schedule thrown on it.
And really, I find it hard to believe that there are people out there that need to refer back to a t-shirt to remember whom the team played. We didn't have a student shirt when I was at school and it's not hard for me to remember the games I went to. Keep a pocket schedule if you can't remember. Ten years later, that shirt probably won't even be in your closet, anyway.
It's not about remembering. Do you need a shirt to remember that we've had three Heisman winners or that we have the biggest stadium?
I'm not sure what you're arguing at this point. Above, you suggested that the shirt would help you remember old games, and now you're saying "It's not about remembering."
I'm not arguing that a fan should need a shirt to remember anything. These shirts are about bragging to the world how cool it is to be a member of the Michigan student fanbase. The accomplishments only enhance that. They're something that other schools can't put on their shirts.
Frankly, it sounds to me like some people here are uncomfortable with a shirt that brags a little bit to the world, and you want to have a template shirt that "fits in" with every other school's. Hey, it's OK to brag here. It's sports. Other schools would put their accomplishments on the back if they were as good as ours.

I too would rather have the schedule on the back.
In my mind, this shirt is not bad, it's just that we won't always have just 11 NCs or 42 B1G Titles. Putting that on a T-Shirt makes it seem like that is all that was or ever will be accomplished. Putting the schedule on there reminds you of a part of a greater tradition but applies to both past, present, and future. I guess what I'm trying to say is that by putting just what has been accomplished, you're taking away from future Wolverines.
My 2c.

My 2008 shirt has the schedule on it. I wish it didn't.

Yeah, but it's obsolete as of the end of next year (I say this assuming Michigan will play in a bowl game, at the very least). At least the schedule is fixed.

I started going to games when I was eight (that was 32 years ago) and I can't remember two seasons past much less the details of one from 20 years ago. They all start to run together after a whille. Of course some stand out more than others, UTL, Braylonfest, the Game(s) et al. The games you attend I think you remember better than others. I like the schedule, it reminds my old ass of what I watched. Now get off my lawn.

Sounds great, until you're stuck with a permanent reminder of The Horror.
I hope Google exists in the future...
All joking aside, there's an argument for either side. One year of awesome achievements being printed is fine with me. It's not like we were expecting any glorious shirt that pleases everyone...were we?
I like the design and I actually never liked having the schedule on the back. The color is still awful though. I thought they were going to start fixing this? A friend of mine in comparing our maize out to the PSU white out said ours just looked like someone took a piss all over the stadium. It hurt my pride, but I couldn't really argue it. The color needs to be fixed.
Drink more water.
Tell your friend that PSU's white out looks like someone blew their load all over their stadium.
It's no dumber than what he said.
Nice.
You sound like you eat up a lot of BS, and your friend is just obnoxious. That statement he made is moronic.
Maize >>>> White
White is generic. Everyone does it now. Maize is and always will be unique to Michigan.
Actually I didn't argue it because the friend was a Michigan student. He might even be on here. I didn't agree with it, but you didn't really disprove his statement by saying Maize>>>White because the shirts are not maize. That's the whole point.
I think the above poster simply meant that yellow was better than white. So your friend thinks that shade of yellow looks like piss but maize wouldn't? That's also pretty dumb, but that wasn't very clear in your original post.
that regardless of the fact that it is highlighter yellow, your friend is just trolling by comparing it to piss and saying that Penn State's white out is better. There are better ways to express that you think they should use a darker form of yellow.

Tell your friend to fuck off.
Best one since 2003.
Simplify the front, straighten both sides out and it would be good.
Thumbs up.
I'm glad they got rid of the schedule on the back. The accomplishments list is a big upgrade, but I agree that the tilting is weird. Overall it seems busy, they fonts should be scaled way down. But that's why the people at Adidas get paid the big bucks and I don't.
There was a shirt like this back in 06 I believe that had a list of accomplishments on it.
too many words, needs to be simpler imo. Still much better than last years.
I think it's cute that we're sponsored by Sharpie. Very subliminal:
Go Ducks!...wait I mean Go Bears!.... wait... what are we again?

a little darker than last year's to me.
Less is more. That is all.
