UM fans never cease to amaze me.Only 3,000 more!
We may have had some rough news lately but to see that we have "raised" almost $12,000 in one day to help Brian and all the other writers is awesome! I really enjoyed the past HTTV so was glad to send some money to try and help out some. Lets try and get to that $20,000 before the end of next week! Thanks to all that helped out so far and if you have never ordered HTTV before THIS is the year to do it!! Go Blue!!
Edit: Unreal! there is a real chance to get to $20,000 tonight! I hope this shows Brian and everyone that is apart of this blog what it means to us fans.

I did it for the t-shirt. That thing is tremendous.

For all those who pitched in, thank you. It's awesome what Mgoblog stands for in the sports coverage landscape.

meanwhile, nytimes.com can stop trying to get 99 cents out of me for 8 weeks of access and go fuck itself while i google the article titles to read them for free because i sure as hell don't pay money to read stuff on the internet.

Anybody else think Brian should take the first $500 over $30,000 and to stage an MGoBlog site takeover of elevenwarriors.com? It'd be a good way to add even more schadenfreude to 11W's inability to raise funds.

to Ohio fans... I'm pretty sure that you go to hell for that.
Yea, verily I say unto thee: consort not with the baseborn thrall whence cometh from Ohio, nor supporteth their propoganda, lest ye be judged and condemned with fire and thine household be putteth to the torch and pitchfork.

1st post: I have been reading this site for over a year now and when Brian posted about his need for money for the magazine I thought, "In a week, I can help him out." Now I know why I am a Wolverine, because we are The Leaders and The Best. Hail to the Champions of the West!
Go Blue!
Congrats, Brian, et. al.!
I'm not going to be able to pitch in until this weekend. Will it still be accepted? Not really sure how this kickstart thing works.
so you'll be fine. I'm not sure when the amount you pledge is actually taken from your credit card though. It'll either be immediately, since the goal of $20,000 was met, or it'll be at the end of the 29 days. It tells you when you go through the process, I just don't remember.
Okay sweet thanks for the help. I've heard of kickstart but have never actually used it, so was just curious how it worked.
Wow, came in this morning and it's at $28,093. Way to go!
Got to work this morning and had no idea what was going on last night. You all did a tremendous job getting this started.
I just went over and made my contribution -- we're now closing in on $30K which would fund the entire project. That's just awesome.
remember that a good portion of the money that has been generated is in exchange for goods. So the more money generated the better, we should try to break $50,000 by the end of the 30 days.
I can't wait for my signed copy.
$30,000 mark about to fall.
Good God.

And I, along with one other person that donated at the same time, was the one lucky enough to see the roll-over. YAY.
Congrats to Brian and the rest of the awesome MGOBlog team - if you ever doubted how highly your work is appreciated, this past day should erase those doubts.

Brian stated the $20,000 goal was to help fund 2/3 of the project. In less than 24 hours the mgoblog community has now funded 100% of the projected costs ($30,394 at time of posting). Very impressive
PS: Yay basic math analysis!
HTTV is in and of itself a worthy cause...however, now that that number has been blown out of the water, maybe think about kicking in a little something to the general fund...
This event deserves its own Blockhams strip...
We are always watching. Keep up the great work!
