What an amazing young man.  He is a great role model.  He takes everything in stride and works as hard as anyone.  His family has to be very proud of the man they raised.

The example he has set for a star player to be active within the university and supporting other athletics is not heard of today. We will be good with Shane coming in though. I think he is gonna follow in the footsteps of Denard. The work and support he's already put in already has made him just as likable.

In the middle of finals week for me. Denard's smile always makes you feel better. Can't wait for the season to start! Be hungry and beat bama! Go Blue!

Everyone. It cracks me up how when Denard has a horible game (which happens frequently) everybody is filling up the boards on here about how bad he is at times and are thinking about other options at qb, and then ask those same people tomorrow and they'll tell you that they wih he could be here for 4 more years. Come one now!

While I don't think "everyone" does that, there is a difference between loving how a kid represents the university/himself and questioning his abilities at a football position. I don't know many people who don't like Denard the person. I personally love Denard the person and athlete FWIW.

Being a good player doesn't mean the person is well liked.  And conversely, being a bad player doesn't mean the person is disliked.  I don't think Denard is the best quarterback in the world, but I love the way he plays the game - full speed, with humility, etc.

"...Denard has a horrible game" that you speak of?

Seriously though, I kinda see your point, but we are talking about Denard's overall awesomeness as a Michigan guy, student, human being, etc.

In any case, a lot of what you're saying fell off the table last year, never to return.

People always ask me who my favorite Wolverine that I've seen play in my lifetime is. I'm 21 and Denard will definitely be in the discussion with Charles Woodson, Braylon, Mike Hart, Woodley, Brady/Henson, and a few others.

My first Michigan game was App State and I graduated after Rich Rod's last year. Suffice to say, I didn't see a whole lot of great football during my time at Michigan. But, I did get to see this kid play live. I'll forever be thankful for that. Thanks for being an awesome representative of the university, DRob.

Is it just me or does it seem like the video stop right in the middle of the interview? Watch the ending again. It left me feeling like there was more to the interview that was left out.

Maybe i'm wrong.
