U-M's season is looking more and more impressive now, with Iowa St. winning like they did, we had a 20 pt lead on that team and won by 10 and we have quite a few wins over teams that have won in the tourney, I'm liking what i'm seeing.

Imagine how good we'll be when the recruiting keeps getting better like it is. Also, I did think todays games were mostly blah with no real drama except for the 'Cuse almost losing, I woulda ROFLMFAO had that happened.

The Big 10 and Big 12 were by far the best conferences this year in my opinion.  They both have multiple teams that could win it all and a bunch of solid tournament teams as well.  The ACC was good as well but Duke is overrated in my opinion and FSU is the trendy pick right now.  I think the Big East is really down this year though and don't expect much for them.  Whenever I had a toss up game with a Big East team, I went the other way because I feel as if Georgetown, Louisville, Syracuse, etc are all extremely overrated and vunerable.

I think the better way to view it is as favorite and as underdog.  Many conferences have lower ranked teams so should have losing records because they play top teams.

A better chart would have two rows- as underdog, and as favored team.

May not change any of that right now (have not looked thorugh the bracket)- but it is a much fairer way to show how conferences performed.

Eh, as long as we're showing overall records and not records against other conferences, it's really a wash - presumably every conference sends their best teams, and better teams earn better seeds. Sure, your middling team might have to face a powerhouse, but your top team gets a layup to make up for it. It's not quite like bowl season, where the B1G gets screwed because their fans travel well.

I know it's a little off topic but I'd just like to announce I'm at the office today with my "BEAT OHIO" t shirt on. Already got a couple high fives. It will have to work for today...

4 of the last 5 Big East Tournament champions have gone to at least the Elite 8, 3 of them to the Final Four. Louiville is the only team that I have advancing further than one would expect. Cuse and GT out in the Sweet 16, all the rest done by the actual 2nd round.
