That's awesome for BGSU. Good for us too, hopefully. That means now we get to play bowling green instead of Western. Western will now play Miami.

At least this time around Michigan won't get caught by surprise like they did a couple of weeks ago. 

NTM also absolutely crused MSU this weekend. That's a scary team to play, lots of offensive firepower and usually some solid goaltending.

At the moment: 

  • Miami has played themselves into a 1 seed (#4 ovr) which is kind of amazing since we absolutely ran them out of the building when they played at Yost a month or so ago
  • MSU and Western are in the tournament but they'd be the last two in at #14 and #15 right now. If BGSU somehow wins the tournament, they'd take that #15 spot
  • Northern sits at #16 overall and it doesn't look like there's anyway they'll sneak in. If they had managed to beat BGSU, they might've been in

B-I-G upset. But really looking forward to the matchup with the Falcons. Used to go to Yost in the 80s with my friend and his dad (BGSU alum) whenever they were in town and loved taunting him whenever we won, which was less frequently back then. Hot team should mean a great game. Go BLUE!
