For the guy who started the other Conley thread that got deleted, YOLO = You Only Live Once.  Real popular on Twitter and Facebook.

The one time I actually catch breaking Michigan news, I post a topic, and then see the same topic posted one minute beforehand. Now my thread is deleted.

Damn you MGoBlog! Damn you all to hell.

Seriously, though, Conley's a damn good pick-up and if anything it keeps the commit train rolling. Holding out hope Ty Issac sees the light emanating from Shane Morris.

another Stark County Ohio kid I can go watch any Friday I want too. Massilion Ohio is a powerhouse and the same school Justin Turner and Shawn Crable came from.

Don't ge too excited. This is just a clever and thorough ploy to have everyone think that he is going to verbal to UM, but in reality, he is going to verbal to Northwestern....

But I'm starting to think that Coach Hoke really doesn't care if we recruiting-watchers have nothing to do all summer...I mean, what, are we supposed to go out and be in the sun?  Play golf?  Sail down the Mississippi in a raft?  This is a serious issue...

Hoke doesn't respect the fanbase... he needs to remember who writes the checks. I'm not saying it's right, but there's no way the blue hairs stand for this. Maybe you can get away with this at San Diego Tech or whatever, but not here. Hoke's about to get run out on a rail and it's his fault, just dumb.

Within a week or 2 of his commitment to Michigan they will have something on him. Prob a generic 3-star and then if he does some camps and does well then he'll have the opportunity to move up. It would be nice to see him have a great seaon and garner a 4th star but its not the end of the world.

Wed likely keep pursuing them and possibly save a spot for them based on their interest level.  There will always be certain guys the staff will save spots for, but you don't want to do that with too many guys because you might get burned.

I'm sure the coaches will feel it out with those guys over the next few months.  However, if other guys who are close to that level want in, it could change things as well.

I can see us getting a WR, RB, LB and DT to move us up to 19 commits.  After that, the last 3-4 spots will be for best available.  Guys like: Levenberry, T.Isaac/D.Smith, Fuller, Cravens, Vanderdoes/Poggi, Treadwell/Foster, Orndoff.  If we have more attrition than expected, that might open the door for another OL like McGovern or Pocic.

Assuming we have 9/10 spots left.

I can see Michigan taking a RB, CB, DT, WR, and a LB ... and calling that a finished class, with 3-5 spots left for simply the top players.  If we can get those spots, and with Isaac, Conley, Poggi, Treadwell, and Gedeon ... we look pretty good to do so, we can literally take 3 - 5 five stars, regardless of position.  At this point, you name a top player, there is no need to ask the question; does this effect them?  It doesn't.  We'll take him, and however many that come with him .... between three and four, of course.  This is simply a genius recruiting plan, and seemingly, it's workin to complete perfection.

Hoke-mania is running wild like it's 1987.

Kinda eliminates any remaining suspense.

Also for fans like @crosier2432, please don't tweet recruits...You make us look really bad when a kid says he's committing to Michigan and you immediately get on his case asking him if he's gonna flip at some point. Great welcome to the family...

I wonder what this could mean? :)

In all seriousness this is very good. Fills our big CB slot that we lost last year when Anthony Standifer decommited.

Go blue!

Ok, this is starting to border on inhuman.  This coaching staff must be keeping 5 hour energy in business at the pace they have been visiting these kids and getting them to commit.  I think it's safe to assume, UM has the hardest working coaching staff in college football

some of you people in this thread prove that no matter what a coach does, you're going to find a way to bitch about him. "Why don't we slow down with all the top recruits we're in on" are you for serious?

But it isn't fair. That Conley has a committable offer at this point shows exactly how the coaches feel about him. If they didn't think him worthy of playing for Michigan, then he wouldn't be committing tomorrow. He is, therefore...
